As advertised, plug and play on Windows 10, installed perfectly, paired with multiple devices (BT speaker, smartphone, tablet, TV) perfectly, surprisingly long range as it connected, paired and played through my BT speaker about 40 feet away in the bedroom, highly recommended, well worth the price and an invaluable add-on for any PC that lacks BT on the MB.Buy it with confidence.UPDATE: If you are running Windows 10 do NOT install drivers from the CD or from any other external source. Windows 10 has the proper drivers - albeit possibly generic - and when you plug in the dongle (use USB 3 for best throughput, if possible), Windows 10 will install drivers and a Bluetooth icon will appear on your taskbar, right click on it to go into setting and to pair devices. Should work flawlessly as it did for me. I think the majority of problems people are having are from installing external drivers from the CD or via download when they don't need to, causing conflicts.

[Time Spent with product: About 1 month used regularly] I have had a couple bluetooth adapter in my time and none work as well as this one. The range on this tiny thing is astounding! My main use for this is to enable bluetooth on my work computer so I can use my headsets. Just connect the bluetooth adapter to a computer and as far as Windows 10 is concerned it will just work and you can start connecting your bluetooth devices. Range has never been an issue and I have been as far as 6-8 feet from the thing using my SkullCandy Wireless Hesh. I also use this on my home computer to connect my Wii U Pro pad for playing games. Though it requires a little extra setup (due to the Pro Pad) it also works flawlessly even when I connected my mini keyboard to it at the same time. All in all this is a solid device and I plan to buy another one so I can have one for work and home. If you need an inexpensive adapter for simple bluetooth needs, this should have you covered. I plan on putting this thing through its paces so hopefully I will have more good things to say about this product.

Extremely good hardware here. HOWEVER, it is NOT plug and play (at least not on windows, maybe it is on other IoT hardware), and requires software that is much too bulky, coming with not only a driver but a collection of programs. More importantly, the OEM software makes it IMPOSSIBLE to boot into Advanced Startup on Windows 8 and probably Windows 10 as well.Reference: [...]Thankfully there are many good alternatives for Bluetooth drivers. I use this dongle for my Dualshock 3 controller, and the driver I use with the dongle is installed with the drivers for the controllers in the same software stack called SCPDriver, which is currently available on the GitHub page for ScpToolkit ([...]). This is probably the best solution for PS3 controllers.For those using this for different purposes on any PC, easy installation of a BT driver can be done with the program Zadig ([...]).I'm sure that there is also alternative drivers for Linux and Mac but I am not familiar with them as I do not use them often...

This little device was exactly what I needed to make my laptop bluetooth ready. I just plugged it in and it downloaded the necessary files automatically. I didn't even have to use the mini CD that came with it. My headphones easily paired with my laptop with no issues. It is so small that I just leave it plugged in all the time. I highly recommend this product!

It works intermittently. Sometimes it will only detect either the keyboard or just the mouse. If you unplug it (like if you need to change it to a USB hub) and plug it back in it will make the bluetooth icon in the corner disappear, so if you want to disconnect or add any other devices you have to restart your computer.

This Bluetooth USB adapter initially did not work--it's not a true "plug-and-play" device; I tried it in a Windows 7 laptop and also in a Windows 10 laptop and neither Windows program could find a driver for this. I used the driver provided by Inamax and it still didn't work. I then had my driver-finder program search for a workable driver, and I found several that work quite well with my both my laptops.

I've had this for about a year now, and i use it on my desktop computer because somehow i didn't have any Bluetooth, and my audio ports are all messed up and not working. So i've been using it with my Skullcandy Hesh 2, and JBL Bluetooth Speaker and it works perfectly. Just recently i''ve noticed a disconnect, which could be the Bluetooth USB or my Skullcandy Hesh 2's.Overall, i would recommend this product if anyone is trying to get a good Bluetooth USB, and it was VERY easy to install!

Works great! I was concerned at first because it wasn't working, but after a restart it's working great that was my bad!! It does poke out a bit, but my laptop has a (yellow) powered USB port on the back so I'm able to just leave it plugged in back there. if it was going to be poking out of the side I would worry about it catching on something.. Great for the price!
