My son really wanted to be King George because he loves the Hamilton soundtracks with the king (... I will send a fully armed battalion to remind you of my love!)We scoured the nets and webs and whatnot and there were simply too many king costumes that seemed "okay" but not great. We settled on this one and it was great!It survived a few different Halloween parties and events, and was perfectly cromulent!

This was a good purchase. The crown isn't much in terms of appearance --a step up from a paper crown in terms of durability but not much better in terms of appearance. But the cape is great--solid quality and velcro closure. Excellent quality/appearance for the price for the cape alone. Purchased for dress-up but could be used for Halloween or stage without issue.

Nice costume but please keep in mind that the material is very cheap! Shirt and pants material are almost paper thin! We didn't even use the (very very cheap) crown that came with it. We had to use a pin to keep the robe closed (the Velcro is not great). I bought a crown and scepter separately and it worked out just fine. But if you are looking for a good material, keep looking. But for one Halloween night, it worked.

It's kind of cheap, but it works for my dramatic play area in my prek room. It stood up to the children's play, it just looks kind of cheap, but they were happy.

I got this item a day earlier than stated, which was a nice bonus. This package comes complete with the shirt, sash, pants, crown and robe. The pants and shirt are pretty thin material like any other costume material. The robe has a smooth velvet like feel to it-not too heavy-but not too light either. The velcro doesn't really stay together on the robe, will probably need to pin that. I am thrilled with this find to be honest! We got this for my son's "Kings and Queens" Day at school. It was a huge hit - durable that I wasn't worried it could be ruined while there and comfy enough that my two year old would actually want to keep it on. It was large on him but still fit adorable. He'll get several years of dress up play out of this.

Pants and shirt are so cheap the pants were so small they would never fit my size small son. They were so thin they were meant to be worn over something which definitely wouldn’t happen. The shirt ripped before he put it on. Better off buying a crown and cape and adding your own pants and shirt.
