Must Have - Should already be part of your initial setup.
I wasn't sure about getting one of these wraps and what it would actually do for me... However, I finally did purchase one after a year of having a CPAP, and I must say, I should have bought one a year ago. This is so much better then the exposed tubing. For one, the noise reduction alone is worth the cost, and sleep.I would wake up from hearing the tubing catch the edge of my night stand, and make that washboard sound. With the wrap on, I no longer wake up do to that noise (ever)As for the humidity levels, I keep mine really low anyway, so I can't really say if that aspect works or not. Also, it is made by ResMed...It appears to be high quality, with a zipper up the entire length, which makes it easy to install. Its a vinyl material - not felt, so pet hair, dust, etc... shouldn't stick to it.Great Product... HIghly Recommended!

Happy sleeper...
At my recent review My doc suggested a wrap for the CPAP tubing. This is an item Medicare doesn't pay, the Medical supplier I use wanted $50 +shipping for this exact wrap. Obviously I was happy to find it here at my favorite store! It fits the Resperonics standard tubing I use. To install it I spread the tube over the bed, then unzipped the wrap, then started at one end to secure the zipper. As you're installing the wrap plan to slide few inches of extra wrap 'bunched' along the length. I like how it lets the tube slide over the bedcovers at night but yet will stay put. Using the wrap does make a difference, it looks GREAT; seems quieter; the heat seems better at the same setting used without it..... so I'm a happy sleeper.

Good Product
I originally purchased this tube wrap in hopes of minimizing "rain-out". However before I had a chance to use the wrap for that purpose, my insurance covered a new CPAP machine and all the bells and whistles that have improved since my last machine in 2010. One of the improvements was a climate-controlled (heated or cooled) hose which completely eliminates rain-out. So, I can't speak to this wrap's ability to reduce rain-out. But I was grateful for this tube wrap when winter arrived because it prevents the cold tube from brushing against my bare skin when I move around in bed. (The climate control feature on the new hose does not heat the outside of the tube). This tube wrap also eliminates kinking of the tube, and now the tube moves smoothly me when I change positions, which was a bonus. The fabric of the wrap does make a little bit of swishing noise when it rubs against bed linens, but it needs to be a swishy kind of fabric to function correctly. The wrap seems well made, and was ridiculously easy to apply to the tube. Aesthetically, I do wish it was available in other colors, though I admit that is a picky detail.

A blanket for your tubing
This tubing wrap is constructed well using a nice quality nylon fabric with a full length zipper for easy on & off. The blue color is very nice too! It should last a long time with proper care, but I would recommend having an extra one to switch out when one is being washed. I'd suggest line drying as a dryer would really be too much heat and would beat the crap out of it with all the tumbling. I would recommend this product, it really does work. No more condensation or water build up in the tubing.

Reasonable Product That Improved Rainout Problem But Didn't Solve It 100%
Bought this product a few weeks ago. I purchased this and the Hybernite Control System simultaneously because I live in a humid climate, and was having massive rainout issues with the tubing. I would say that the tubing wrap by Resmed improves / reduces the rainout issue meaningfully but doesn't solve it completely. If I had to put a number, I would say the tubing wrap solves the problem by 75%, but there is still minor rainout - to be very clear, I mean an occasional couple of drops of water on the nose. Obviously this is a big improvement on the spray I was getting before using the tubing wrap. The heated hose, on the other hand solves the problem more completely, I would say up to 90% (although the tubing at least for the Hybernite system is a bit hard / less flexible compared to the standard hose).

Great Product
I have worn a CPAP device for the past six years. I initially purchased this item because I was having too much water coming through the nasal pillows of my machine. I thought the room might have been too cool and causing this situation. However, this did not solve my problem and I needed up having to go to my vendor and purchase through my insurance a heated humidifier tube. This taken into consideration, I still use this wrap as it makes the tube not so noisy when it rubs against the sheets or if your happen to lay your check on it. It is extremely easy to apply and will fit several different types of CPAP tubes.

Does not fit a 6' hose
I was very disappointed in this item which comes from one of the major producers of CPAP equipment. The instructions that came with it did not seem to match the version of the productI received and then I learned that this cover was supposed to fit either a 6' or a 6'6" hose. While it seems it would be a perfect fit for the longer hose, there were no instructions on how to modify the fit for a 6' hose. With great effort and sore thumbs I can squeeze most of the cover onto my hose but the excess material gradually slides off with use. As for effectiveness, it is no better than the fleece hose cover I used previously.

Weight Issue
This was a very high quality product. I have arthritis in my neck fo anytime the CPAP mask or tubing contributes to that pain I reject the product. This weighted the tube down and pulled on my neck. If you don't have neck challenges this could be a perfect product. It was quite easy to use and well made. It prevented the tube from collecting water througout the night.
