I got a set of this DDR2 800MHz memory for my Toshiba L300 laptop, now the ram is maxed out to 4GB on WindowsXPI use this laptop solely for music recording/listening using audacity and other software, runs like a champ now. these laptops are perfect for music as they have a dedicated volume control on the front so you can close the lid and adjust the volume without messing with hot keys.I also use music making programs called MUSIC 2000, Fruity Tracks (Toys R Us sold fruity tracks under the name of "Pro DJ" back in 2003) i'm also a big fan of Dance Ejay along with Mixmiester Fusion, Surcode DTS runs awesome on this laptop too, this is what i use to make DTS 5.1 audio, ive got a great little setup now ive upgraded the 2GB DDR2 667 to 4GB 800MHz, its made a pretty big difference to be honest, especially since i added an SSD too.Brilliant memory, highly recommended.This is made by Elpida and is japanese made.
