Had been looking for some time for some portable lamps that used batteries (not USB rechargeable) and was not able to find many. Came across these ones and was not disappointed, the light is more than enough and you can adjust brightness. Size is also great and they're not heavy at all. I actually bought a set for my elderly mom just in case lights go out and she loved them. Easy to use and put batteries on (because yes, there are others that are a bit rough especially for elderly people).

These are great lights. One light is brighter than a full-size camping lantern. I’m replacing with this light one light you can easily light up room and four of them you can probably light your whole house with. We can put one of them on the dining room table and play dominoes with it when we lose power highly recommend.

These little lanterns are so handy and plenty bright. Multiple levels of light, comes with the batteries installed and ready to go! Great for emergency backup or camping....and so many other things. They are great!

These are excellent Lanterns. I bought them for camping, but we’ve actually use them like 20 times for when the power goes out due to weather one of them will lighten up our whole living room and we have a pretty big living room. They were great at night or lightweight easy to carry easy to store and they produce a lot of light. This is a great purchase!

Product is as described, easy to use, durability is good, purchased for use during power outages, functionality is excellent for what we needed them for, light is bright. Would also be great for camping.

The handles worked great to hang them and they were bright for how small they are. The size was great for packing.

I bought a four-pack of these Etekcity lanterns years ago and I love them. In fact I returned here today to purchase some more of them for a couple of my relatives. I have used mine for power outages due to severe winter weather and thunderstorms and these lights performed beautifully and illuminated the entire downstairs. One of my neighbors actually came over and asked if my electricity had somehow been restored and of course I said no, and that I have these awesome lanterns that throw a surprisingly amount of nice white light. He thought I had somehow had my power restored or that maybe I had a generator running because my downstairs looked so bright. He was so impressed that he ordered a four-pack of them too. I particularly like that the hue of these lanterns is a "cool white" which is a very white light; not that awful yellowish tint which I cannot stand. These are a nice white light similar to a fluorescent light. I'm pleased that these little lanterns throw a lot of white light. And the batteries will last quite a while too. I ran one of mine as a test for close to 50 hours non stop to see how long the batteries would last. I have Eneloop high capacity rechargeable batteries installed in mine and it works out very well as those are a very low self discharge type of battery and they hold their charge extremely well. LED's don't use a lot of "juice" so you'll get a lot of bang for your buck with these lanterns. You certainly cannot beat the price of them.
