I purchased this set on sale for around $132.00. They have great sound. Played pandora from phone. Plenty loud at about 40% volume with no distortion. We have a pool and a gazebo, mounted the pair under house eave about 25ft apart. Angled towards sitting area. Great stereo sound and effects. Easy to install. A little more effort and ran speaker wire up through eave into attic and back to other speaker. Had an outlet in attic to connect power cord to and ran other end to speaker thru eave. This made it neat and tidy, no visible wires showing. Plus no weather to mess with the plug in the power.outlet. Great sound at about 45’ to 50’ straight out on other side of pool at only 40 to 45% volume. (didn’t want to annoy the neighbors). These speakers are loud if you crank them up. Bluetooth easy connect. All said and done you won’t be disappointed with this set of quality made speakers. A Must Buy for outdoor entertainment! Remember to check how much speaker wire you’ll need before starting. It came I think with about 13’. In most cases you will need more especially if running wiring thru attic. Enjoy!

We absolutely love these speakers. We have a set in our garage. We have a set outside on our patio and we have a set now in our tiny house. I would recommend these to anyone. The sound is amazing.

The good: Decent speakers, plenty loud enough for my deck. Bluetooth is extremely easy to connect. The just ok stuff: Much larger cases than I envisioned they would be. The power cord is only about 6 ft I wish it was longer 10-15 ft would be ideal. The 3.5 Aux is nice I can use them with my outdoor TV headphone jack, you have to disconnect BT on your phone it will override the Aux input. The Bad: The included speaker wire is absolutely trash. The power on/off is on the speaker they're mounted to the ceiling of my gazebo, I'm not getting a ladder out to turn them off so they just stay on. No EQ or app to control it. 30W peak is my guess definitely not 300W. Overall would I recommend them ? Yes, decent speakers at the price point. A couple of changes and I would rate a 5. I can't comment on longevity as they are new to me.

Great, easy to install, and good sound from these. Had the 5.25” in the last house but went up to the 6.5” this time and the sound difference is noticeable. Easy to install/connect and operate.

I was pretty excited about finally getting to use these for a backyard family movie night, but they were a huge disappointment! The sound was very weak and there's no way to beef it up. The first time we tried to use them, I assumed the poor sound quality was because of the ultra thin piece of speaker wire that was included with them. So I bought some nice heavy gauge wire and couldn't wait to try it again but the beefy wire made no difference whatsoever. I couldn't even imagine how that was possible from a "300 watt" pair of speakers. They certainly FEEL very sturdy; after all, they're big and heavy. But they're really just way overbuilt for the minimal sound they produce. We tried everything to make sure there wasn't a bad connection, and while handling them, I discovered that they are NOT 300 watts - not even close. They're a mere 30 (thirty) watts. That made a lot more sense and was much more consistent with the very weak sound. We imagined that watching a family movie in the backyard would be a lot of fun for everyone. We figured there'd be plenty of sound for those of us who were looking forward to the movie, even if some of the kids would rather play with their friends we had over. But the only way we could hear anything was if the kids were absolutely quiet, and having to micro-manage a 'family fun night' was neither fun nor relaxing - just very disappointing. Part of me feels like the "300 watt" description surely must've been a typo, but everything else about these speakers - the price, the size, the weight, even the reviews - is about what you'd expect from speakers with a lot more power than 30 measly watts. 30 watts is nothing to get excited about so it's hard to understand all the rave reviews, unless a LOT of people aren't aware of what 300 watts should sound like. Nobody should have had to strain to hear the movie - and that was AFTER we eliminated any other sound that we felt was competing for 'earspace' - our AC, the kids playing at all, any conversation among the adults. It was just very disappointing, especially because I have no use for speakers of this caliber, so they're just going to take up space until I find a home for them. Pros: I like the fact that these speakers just work. There's no need to press any buttons or do anything special to get them working. I have them on a switched outlet, and I want them to just work when the power comes on. Other speaker systems require you to press some power button when power comes back. They are reasonably easy to mount Bluetooth connection works well. I've paired them up with several devices and all work well. I do notice that the distance has to be short. Bluetooth is supposed to work within 30 feet, but I think anything more than 20 feet will result in disconnects. I also don't use an iPhone, which are known to have bad BT radios, so that is something to think about if you're an iPhone user. Cons: The sound is okay, but not awesome. I bought these at an open box special for eighty bux, and that's about what they're worth. They're a little too big for the sound that they deliver. I've got a Logitech UE boombox that sounds a lot better and is a lot smaller. This also tells me that the mediocre audio quality is due to the speakers themselves, and not just the fact that I'm using bluetooth. There is a hum coming from the speakers when they are on, but no bluetooth device is currently connected. I have them outdoors, where there is always some ambient noise, so it doesn't bother me much, but I can see some people getting annoyed by it. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase, but only because I got them cheap. For the prices I see elsewhere, I would not have been so happy. UPDATE: I notice there is an annoying hum when no device is paired to the speakers. It may not be an issue if you have them in an outside environment where there is a lot of background noise, but my family has started to shut them off when not in use. Right out of the box, the main speaker paired right to my phone and its twin connected right to it ... they're hard wired to each other and you can run another wire from the main speaker to any existing sound system you have on your patio to connect them all. The provided wire will likely be about a foot shorter than you want it ... so order a 100 foot roll of 16 gauge speaker wire along with these to make it work in whatever configuration you want! I sneaked the cord to power the main speaker through to my garage and plugged it into a smart switch so I can power it on and off remotely as well so I don't have to use the power button on it but also so it's not also on constant standby power. YES, they're big ... but they sound better than the slightly smaller ones and are a huge bang for your buck. I'm looking mainly for ambient/background party and pool music, not DJ dance level so these sound great to me.
