The name of the product is wrong. It is not electric. It is battery powered. It's also extremely small and cheap and of poor quality.UPDATE - the seller has contacted me, twice, offering me £10 and a full refund if I delete this review. I have reported the seller to Amazon.

I love this ‘lectric pencil sharpener!
I’ve incorporated this into a workshop tool caddy, in my man-cave shed workshop. And I love it!I like the ergonomically curved triangular design. Although in my tool caddy it sits inside the body of the larger caddy, so the shape is less relevant. It has a lockable/detachable sharpener mech’, allowing one to easily empty it of shavings, as and when needed.The consummate ease with which I can now achieve sharp pencils is sooo fab, making mark-up in my workshop that much easier and more enjoyable. Love it!NB - Comes with a spare sharpener.

Perfect little gadget
Fab results, no effort, saves blisters from hand rotating hundreds of pencils. Needle point sharp easily achieved, just hold in place with minimal pressure for normal sharp, but a little bit of extra downward pressure just at the end and perfect result. Have tried this sharpener quite hard with an initial trial of 250 pencils, first blade still working. Would recommend.

The best purchase of 2022 for parents
The media could not be loaded. I didn't knew I need this battery powered pencil sharpener until I actually got it. It's magic, it's fun and makes my life so much easier mostly when I have to sharpen my daughters 300+ colouring pencils. Divine, must have and super easy to operate.

Does the job
Product is good but with some pencil it gets stuck and sharpener doesn’t turn.

Good solid electric sharpener
Simple to start. Just add batteries and push pencils lightly into it. 5 year old has just sharpened brand new pencils. Spare blade included which should extend the life a fair bit. Decent sized container too so not always needing to empty.
