Worked great to keep one of my thermometers for the ambient temp in the smoker.Clipped in easily but tightly enough that even the occasional bump (sometimes a lil harder than just a bump) does not disturb it, push it thru, or even move it. Very happy! Recommend.

This clip is perfect for Green Eggs - set your probe above the grill to monitor grill temp. You will see a large variance between the grill temp and air temp above it that is read by the Egg's built-in thermometer. Definitely improves your ability to monitor to the fire level. Clips tightly to grill and holds probe in place, even when you open the grill multiple times.

Works as advertised. Clips into the grill grates and secures a temp probe. You can get a more accurate temperature reading with the temp probe at the grate level. Those temp gauges on the hood or lid of grills are notoriously inaccurate. Get a remote thermometer and this can secure the probe and your grilling/smoking will be more accurate.

Meat butler is a great accessory to the Thermopro TP08 , this product allows the ambient probe to sit higher in the middle aspect of the grill where a more accurate temperature reading can be detected . I recommend purchasing this product along with the Thermopro TP08 despite that the TP08 already has a probe clip only because the TP08 probe clip sits much lower on the grill. Excellent product .

The Weber Connect ambient temperature probe fits snuggly with this clip. The clip itself nearly identical to the original that came with the Weber Connect system.

If you need this part for your grill then this one get the job done.

The probe holder is as expected, except the holes are a little too small. I will have to enlarge them with a drill.
