Does the trick!
The product arrived and was appeared as accurately described within the photos and product description on the site. They work well and make it easy to both get seeds going and to easily plant them in the ground. Will happily buy again for next season.

Sturdy, simple, effective.
The pods held up nicely after being filled/soaked, I actually ended up splitting them up into sets of four, but they definitely hold their form and seem to work well enough so far. No complaints.

Nice peat pots. A little bit pricier than other brands, but function just the same. No hole.
These peat pots are nice and sturdy. They're easy to tear apart when ready, they bury straight into the dirt and break down, and they're light enough that I have no issues putting all ten of these on a tray and filling up a full rack. The only real downside for me is that they are a bit pricy compared to other brands. They paper is dark enough that it keeps the roots from being exposed to the sun, and they're fairly deep for seedlings so there's plenty of space so nothing gets root bound. They're easy to move around so they should work great when it's time to start hardening off seedlings to get ready for raised beds and inground sowing. These don't have a hole in the bottom so the moisture tends to soak up in the paper pot and keep the plant wet longer than I like, so I took an awl and punched holes in mine. I punched from the inside out so that water could flow easily and drain out. It should keep my pots lasting longer so I can re-use them for plugs. I'd get these again, although they're priced higher than most others.

Does exactly what I want...
I do not have a lot of gardening space, but what I have, I use to grow hot, hot peppers and some tomatoes, all of which become hot sauces. These are perfect for getting my babies started before it is warm enough to put them outside. Just pick up a little gardening soil, a few packets of seeds, and put them under a grow light with regular watering and give my peppers a head start on the growth season. This ensures plenty of time to get multiple harvests out of them in a single season in Atlanta.I particularly like that they can decompose and I'm not using plastic--and I find these sturdier and easy to carry without them spilling than plastic.

Can't Wait for Spring
Santa brought my 7 yo son a greenhouse for Christmas, and he's practically frothing at the mouth to start planting. As mild as our winters here in Louisiana are, we still probably need to wait a tad bit longer to plant. That being said, I'm starting to collect starter pots to have at the ready. His greenhouse has wire shelving, so I like that these are in a tray form such that they will sit more nicely on his shelfs. The labels are also absolutely imperative. I'm trying to teach him how to keep good records of what he plants and where he plants it. We even have a plant journal.I really can't wait to turn him loose with these in the next handful of weeks. And being that he's on the younger side, being able to place these in the ground without having to unpot anything will be ideal.

Average quality and nice size
These are a little bit smaller than the generic ones that I was able to find at my local Home Depot. The thickness is just right, it’s not so thick that my new routing will rot because lack of ventilation. But these are not so thick that you can use it for a long time without repotting.
