I was very pleasantly surprised by how well these calmed down my little rescue calico, who’s afraid of humans. She stretches out and purrs on the cushion I put nearby. I ended up placing one in every room. I’ll be buying more.

Works great, feliway is on the pricier side for diffusers for cats. I've never switched up because then I'd have to buy more adapters. I only keep 2 plugged in now but get the 6 pack and make it last.

I purchased the Feliway Classic Diffuser first at the vet's office to see if it would help with one of my cats' elimination on rugs and furniture. The cat is very skittish, even though she's lived with us for years. I first used it in a large bedroom, but it was plugged in about 10 feet away from one of the places where the cat sleeps. I don't think it had much of an effect. She mostly stays in one corner of the bedroom, but later in the afternoon moves to a different location, which happens to be next to an outlet. I moved the diffuser over there, and I think it is having a positive effect on her. When I pet her in her other spot, she is very vocal, as if she thinks I'm going to take here outside to clip her nails (she hates that). But when I come home from work and approach her to pet her when she's laying next to the Feliway, she is quiet, and gets into a more relaxed position, stretching out and enjoying the attention. Also, the frequency of her elimination on the rug has decreased, so I do think the product is making a difference. I recommend the product, but with some caveats: 1) Probably most effective in smaller rooms. 2) If in a larger room, I think the cat needs to be within a few feet from it, especially if you have a ceiling fan on in the summertime. There was no miraculous change in her behavior, but these refills are inexpensive enough that I am willing to keep using them to see if there is a longer term change in her behavior. I recommend them as a relatively inexpensive refill for the Feliway Classic Diffuser.

I have used Feliway for years, based on recommendations by a veterinarian. I use the plug-ins when a new cat moves in so it feels more comfortable in a new setting, I spray the spray on product in the cat carrier a while before putting the cat in to go somewhere, and I use the plug-ins when something unusual happens at home. For example, we experienced storm damage to the exterior of the house last winter. I used Feliway while repairs were underway to keep the cat calm inside despite the noise of construction outside. We used it when a previous cat suddenly stopped using the cat box along with other changes recommended by the veternarian. These uses are all successful. I don't notice any odor from the plug-in, each jar lasts over a month, and I always keep one on hand. Highly recommended and the only product of this kind that I trust.

We went from a 1 cat 3 dog house to a 3 cat 2 dog house overnight after the Camp Fire. Our 1st cat, Valkeryie went into 'I hate everyone and everything' mode when I brought a 14 week old kitten,Ash, into the house. I wasn't expecting the reaction and I thought Valkeryie would settle down once I got Ash neutered. She did not. She was hissing, spitting and growling day and night. And worse, Ash was turning my arms into hamburger meat. It was a nightmare. I didn't know what to do because I knew no one would take Ash knowing what he was doing to me, and I knew he would be put down if I sent him to the shelter. I started researching and I discovered the cat pheromones. More research led me to the Feliway brand. I bought this at PetCo and plugged it into my kitchen socket. I was SHOCKED. Within 3-4 hours, both cats were laying on my bed within 3 feet of each other, sleeping. No fighting, hissing, growling, or swiping at each other or me. I was amazed. I tell people about this product every time I am in the pet stores or just in general pet conversations. I am always recommending this and I will stand by it for as long as they don't change any part of it.

Mu cat sitter recommended using Feliway, since I was going on vacation - which ended up being a long-term absence due to an accident. It kept my little girl calm from having to be alone except for when visited by the sitter. I'm now using it for my new kitty, since my little sweetie passed away a few months ago. It's really helped her be less anxious and more confident.

Mixed results. Have an issue with a cat that scratches a rug. This works sometimes; a bit less scratching. But I just noticed the price just went up $12 since this past summer when I last purchased. Yikes!

I’ve used these since my girl was a kitten, per the vet recommendation. It’s INSANE how well these work!!! Like she’s a sweeter and more cuddly cat when I have these plugged. I can’t smell it. But if she’s frustrated or angry, she will go over to the outlet and take a BIG OLE sniff over the top of the feliway device. It’s hilarious!! My baby knows how to self soothe haha And if she starts kinda being a jerk to me? I check the outlet and the feliway has run out. It’s not a great value because it’s SO expensive to have one in each room. But then it’s also cost effective, on the other hand, because of the value I get - in terms of how well she acts. Any vet office I’ve been to has these in exam rooms too, which I love I think these are more effective than feliway spray form Oh and my vets have said that the other brands don’t work as well as feliway. And that the newest feliway (called Opum or something?) that the newest kind in silver branding works even better than this one.

We have 2 feral kittens that we are socializing and a 17 year old deaf cat who is not happy about it. They are separate but share a common barrier through which they can see each other. There is a diffuser in each area. Since the kittens are doing well we assume that that one is helping but we know that the one in the older cat's area is working because she stopped howling at night (as some deaf cats will do) when we put it up. Expensive but worth the money. Word of caution - at first we had a diffuser behind an electonic piano which had a plastic cover to protect it from the kittens. The plastic, unbeknownst to us, attracted the oil being diffused and the whole cover and piano were saturated with oil. Fortunately, no harm to the piano. Be sure to put them in an area that isn't covered up and where there's no plastic nearby to attract the diffused oil.
