I used this to replace the wire on a few Lego Technic cables from the 2000s that have disintegrated. Dimension-wise it's a perfect match. I just ripped off pairs of wires from the 6 to create 2 all-black cables and then binned the pair that included the white stripe to keep the "look" authentic.

Had to replace the crumbling wire in my LEGO 9v products, and this stuff fit the bill perfectly.Flexible, easy to work with, and a lot of bang for your buck.

I have some old LEGO 9V wires which were falling apart, so I did some research and found BatteryPoweredBricks on YouTube who recommended this 24 Gauge wire to replace LEGO 9V and Power Functions wires. He was right, this wire is fantastic! This is easy to work with and is of great quality. I was able to fix all my LEGO 9V wires fairly easily.The only down side is that these are a bit expensive.
