We were looking for low wattage led bulbs for the dining room that wouldn’t overwhelm the room with light, and for technical reasons using a dimmer is not possible. We’re very pleased with these bulbs. The color is warm, tending towards yellow more than gold. Skin and food look natural in the light. The points of “filament “ add nice life to the bulbs. These would work well on a patio, too.

These are really beautiful lights! I have a 100+ yr old house and bought two of these for the entry door way. I think I will get more for mood lighting in other rooms. For those who are planning to use these for home lighting they put out as much light as a 25-30 watt incandescent so plan usage accordingly. However keep in mind it is still a very appropriate/efficient amount of light given off for just 3 watts used.I'm taking away one star as my personal issue was that both bulbs were not the same exact color. One was a slight deeper yellow than the other (perhaps two different led types in a manufacturing switch?) which was whiter and a little brighter. I only wish they had sent two bulbs of the exact same color.I'm including a pic I took with my phone. They look a lot nicer than even in the pic and I am still very pleased!

We bought these to replace the Edison style 65w bulbs in a light with 18 bulbs. When I out these in they turned on but only very low and the dimmer didn't work (or almost imperceptibly so). As I was contemplating having to send them back - on a whim I put one of the original incandescent bulbs back in (along with the other 17 LED bulbs) and suddenly it worked. Not sure why - but for those that really want to get these to dim you might consider trying this too. Other than that issue they seem really nice & are an interesting look and put out a pleasant warm amber type light. Maybe someone else can explain the dimming issue?

Pros: Very nice looking bulb. It puts out a great amount of light for a bed-side lamp, so that you can get enough light to get around and do things, without feeling blinded (especially in the early hours of the morning when you're first waking up, it's very easy on the eyes).Cons: The LEDs inside rattle against the glass when I even graze my night stand that the lamp rests on. It's not terribly loud, just annoying because I'm the one that hears all the noises that apparently don't bother many other people, or that they don't hear at all. It's also not going to be bright enough if you're using it for the main source of light in a larger room (like a living room), but for my purposes, it is fantastic.

Absolutely "Gorgeous" Vintage Design Light Bulb. For me it is very difficult to get excited over a light bulb however this one has to be seen to believed. Gives off a yellowish kind of glow that is very soothing and rather relaxing. The design of this bulb is fascinating as well. Even though they are no where near as harsh as other Vintage bulbs I own this would EASILY be 5 stars if they could be dimmed. I do rate them 4 1/2 stars however. Can't go wrong... Great job Kiven

These are great! I ordered three of the 5w bulbs like these, and there were only two available, so I needed another. I ended up ordering two of these, because one of the 5ws wasn't bright enough to read by. I was worried that the 3w would be a lot dimmer than the 5 watt, but it's actually brighter! It's not quite as yellow, but you only notice that if the 3w and 5w are right next to each other. Now I have my beautiful blue and purple and green cords hanging over the kitchen table, in a previously unlit corner, and next to the couch, and the bulbs give a beautiful, old-timey yellow glow to the room - just what I wanted!!

I ordered 9 of these LED Edison bulbs for our new light fixture that hangs over my stairs. I wanted LED's so I didn't have to change them out too much due to the location of the fixture. I received them fast, however 3 of them did not work. I was able to do an easy return with Amazon to get the 3 bulbs I still needed and the replacements all worked. They aren't super bright, so they worked great in my 9 light fixture. These give off a yellow vintage glow.

We purchased a clear glass nicely-shaped ceiling fixture for our foyer. It had been pictured with an Edison bulb but unfortunately did not come with one. We went looking for an LED Edison bulb online and found this one. We wanted Edison for the shape and LED for the electricity savings and the number of hours it would last. We were surprised and blown away by this light - it produces a very pretty design on the ceiling of concentric shadow circles, and the filaments which you can see through the clear glass are unusual and lovely. We are very pleased with this purchase.
