The Draper brand is never a letdown. I purchased this to fit on an antique hand crank bench grinder, and it works perfectly for that purpose.

Packed securely so arrived without damage, I "rang" the grinding wheel just to be sure. As an engineer I know to check that there are no hidden cracks or defects before using the grinding wheel. Hold the wheel loosely on a biro or pencil through the hole and tap the wheel gently with a metallic object. It should give a ringing sound. If it just sounds "flat" it may have a crack or defect.

I have given 3 stars, as the first one sent had a large chip out of the front edge, compromising the integrity of the stone. I understand that accidents can happen, but as there was no sign of damage to the box, and no debris inside it, I can only conclude that someone deliberately packed this into the box, knowing that it was damaged, and could have potentially shattered if I had tried to use it. The replacement stone arrived quickly, and in good condition, but is very eccentric, and needs a good dressing, but this is not a surprise considering the price, and is good value for money.
