LRI PRK Photon II LED Keychain Micro-Light, Red Beam

I can't stress how incredibly useful this light is. The design is perfect, small and light enough for you to forget you are carrying it, but strong enough so that your other keys will not damage it. They are nearly indestructible, it would require an intentional effort to break this thing.Operation is very simple, just squeeze to activate, it will stay lit for as long as you apply pressure. For longer, or hands free illumination, there is a small switch on the top you can toggle.The battery seems to last forever. I have owned mine for at least 4 years using it regularly, and it still works perfectly. I find the red version the most useful, as it helps to preserve night vision.Highly recommended.

I bought these and shipped to my nephew, who is serving overseas. He needed a light he could use in blackout conditions that didn't bother night vision. The red light was perfect. These came with a nice clip so he could clip on his uniform or equipment without having to dig around for them (I shipped him several).They are also handy because they can be pushed on (or put in your mouth for a "bite on" effect) or they have a little switch so than can be turned on without having to maintain pressure on the sides. The choice is nice. I'm told they are frequently used just for a very small period of time, so the push on feature is used. I was surprised how far they threw the light, it would go at least a good 30 feet or more.He was VERY grateful when these arrived in his most recent care package. These are the light the "guys love". Product arrived very quickly, prompt shipping. The only downside, is the packaging is a bit excessive, but they can be re-packaged if shipping.

My husband likes the red because it doesn't ruin your night vision. The switch on it works well. It was a Christmas gift so haven't owned it long but it seems to be worth the price. He really likes it.

I've like this little light enough to keep buying more and more of them to the point of sending pair of them with the wife when she went over to Africa for a week. Mine came with a little clip instead of a key chain ring so it is really easy to clip it to a zipper or anything else. This is not a flood lamp, it provides just enough light to not stumble around in the dark. I am really pleased with the button being both push for light and lock for on. I found that if I turn it with the button towards the jacket I do not have any cases of oops the light is on again. I have gotten it wet, covered in grime and it still works great. I'll be ordering a few more soon.

I need to use a key to click the switch to on, but then the light is bright and steady.I am using it as a collar light for dog walks for winter evenings, and it is too bright if anything.I've used the  Nite Ize SpotLit Clip-On LED Light with Carabiner, Weather Resistant, White  for years, but got tired of having to replace the batteries so often. I like the light better on the Nite Ize, but this'll do.

I purchased this for use in the mornings when I don't want to wake anyone up by turning on lights or using a regular flashlight. The red light from this is extremely powerful, more so than I expected, yet the Photon II LED is tiny. It's a superbly made little light. Don't bother with cheap knockoffs, make sure you buy a genuine Photon micro-light.

Works REALLY well on a key chain.But I don't like how much pressure it takes to squeeze it on, it only squeezes on one side, the mini pull switch doesn't make any sense to me, and I thought the red color would be more effective at night and preserve night vision, but I really just regret not getting a normal white color.

I've had one of these Photon Micro lights for several years and it was time for a new one. I've owned several micro-lights and the Photon is my favorite by far. I like the new switch that lets you turn the light on and leave it on; I hiked several miles in Big Bend National Park one night by the light of the old one and my hand got very tired holding down the button! The good news was that the Photon light gave very adequate light to see the trail after my larger light failed. My other light was white; the red is good for not interfering with night vision and is still very bright.
