I had been considering replacing our 'Malibu' landscape lights for a couple of years, with the purpose of lowering our energy use as I love having the yard & house-front lit up at night, plus know that illumination adds security. Additionally, I wanted to lower our energy usage, as I have them on all night. But I hesitated, not finding fixtures I liked and concerned about the overall cost of upgrading 10 lights and the transformer. I finally realized, after talking to a product expert, that I could just simply replace the halogen bulbs in my fixtures. I measured carefully to make sure the bulbs would fit, then ordered these, and voila - the bulbs are just a bit brighter, I know will last for years so I won't have to replace them regularly as I did with the halogen bulbs, plus I'm confident I'm using a lot less energy use - so I'm stoked!

These bulbs work perfectly as a direct replacement for old, hot burning halogens. I used them to replace allof the halogen bulbs in my landscape lighting. My house is brighter than ever before. I'm very glad I chose these bulbs.

I like the brightness for my old landscape flood lights. I just measured the pins and found these would replace the original halogen lamps. I also found they fit some submerged pond lights, but I had a fail on one that leaked a little bit. Not a detraction, but note these bulbs are NOT sealed. Water leaked in through the lens. When I took that one apart, it had 6 LEDs inside and it seemed like the bulb housing is aluminum, though I'm not certain about that.

Switching out our hot, inefficient halogens. These were easy to install and show a nice warm, even light. We will see how long they last. Either way, a better choice.

It took a while to find the right bulb, but this one worked for me. Be sure to measure carefully as I looked at quite a few before finding this bulb. It fit perfectly. No issues so far.

the light quality is good. the bases are a bit large and don't plug all the way into my light sockets.

If you got halogen landscape lights this is a great upgrade . In my case they were brighter than the halogen probably because they lower the wattage used . My halogen lights were 20 w each and total was almost 95% of my transformer . Now I’m about 30% of it. The transformer doesn’t humm like it did so I think it will extend the life of the transformer. I’ve been through 3 so far .
