This is a must for anyone looking into Mentalism or anything that garners an audience's attention. Concise and well written

The author references Darren Brown and it seems that he read a Derren Brown book and then took an hour or two to create this worthless PAMPHLET based on it-- with a totally watered down explanation of mentalism and ZERO practical examples of how any trick might be performed. This book has many pages that contain only one short paragraph. You can learn FAR MORE from any Derren Brown book, which gives the same information in much greater detail and with many helpful examples. This book is a joke. Save your time and money. (I am not in any way associated with DB. I just happened to stumble upon his "Tricks of the Mind" book which I found fascinating. I thought this book would take me deeper but just the opposite.)

Only an intro, feels like it leaves you wanting to read more. Aside from that its good.

Written like a term paper a high school student wrote for a psychology class. Very superficial covering of the topic. Many pages only had a single paragraph. Not worth the effort.

Better than other books on the subject. I learned more about the background and history than actual techniques. All in all a sold read

Julian Hulse has done an excellent job with writing this book. The book breaks down the difference between a mentalist and a magician. This material was very straight forward in explaining the history and other aspects of a mentalist. Hulse opens up and takes a closer look at the art of mentalism.

Really weak. Useless. I could retype this entire book on a couple of sheets of letter sized paper. Many pages have one sentence. Tells you NOTHING. Don't bother buying.

The writer is definitely a Mentalist ,cooking people to buy this book. Do not waste your money and time. Run...
