Best ever cooking thermometer!

We love to cook, bake and grill so having a good quality thermometer was important to us. I was also looking for a thermometer that obviously gave an accurate reading, but also was collapsible and secure to ensure the probe stays safe and not poking any little hands reaching in the kitchen drawers. So far I’ve used it for about 3 weeks out on the grill and my wife has used it while making various types of toffee and caramels … so far so good. You can switch the reading to Fahrenheit or Celsius with a simple button push and the reading appears to be very accurate. The temperature seems to read and be accurate within only a couple seconds. The bright color makes it easy to find and you can hang it anywhere for easy access using the magnet works great on the side of the fridge. It takes and comes with AAA batteries which I found pretty easy to open and close, plus there is an automatic shut-off so you don’t waste battery life. The probe folds down into the handle to protect it from being broken or poking around. I was very impressed with how fast it shipped to me and the photos and description in the listing was exactly what I received. I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

We have always had the worst luck cooking meat. Our stove is super old so when we cook meat the oven says its 350 and really it isnt. The longer the oven is on the different tempatures we always get. So we have a temp gauge in the oven so we could make sure to cook meat better. But his is so perfect. I love that it makes cooking meat better now. It makes it so that I dont get frustrated and that I can really be happy and enjoy a nice meat. I m not a huge cook so using thoes other small thermometer in the oven to check meat is not accuate. THis thng was right on and it made it so that meat was juicy when i was done.I loved that when I cook I could just stick this to the fridge and that way when I need it I have right at my fingertips. It so easy to store as well and that it doesnt have a sharp edge that sticks out and worry me with the kids..We received this item to review and test and in exchange I am giving my unbiased opinon. I love that it is my favorite color as well

This is definitely not an "instant read" thermometer. It took just as long to reach the internal temperature in a steak as it did our non-instant read thermometer. The whole idea was to be able to read the steak temperature in a few seconds & not wait half a minute while letting all the heat escape from the grill. Not returning it, but not happy at all.

Worked great. Very Accurate. Then less than 2 months later it stopped turning on. Replaced the battery and still would not turn on. Too late to return and get a refund. Disappointing....
