Let me first say that Chinese dog clothing is almost always on the smaller size, so sizing up is many times needed. It’s recommended to look at the measurements provided by the seller and measuring your Dog.This sweatshirt is made from a thick velour. It’s a quality material and has quality construction. The size small is perfect on Noah, who is just under 5lbs and his back is about 9 inches long. The hood is a bit large, but you can’t stop smiling when you put it up and see that large Pom Pom flopping around!Now onto the minuses... the cut of the sweatshirt on the belly area comes down too far for male dogs to not pee on it. It totally covers Noah's "willie", so this wouldn’t be something I’d take him for a walk in. The second minus is the ridiculous rubber patch that’s sewn onto the chest area. I get it that manufacturers want their name visible on clothing, but there’s no need for this huge round rubber patch.None of the minuses would have stopped me from making this purchase. Noah has enough clothes that I don’t need to rely on this as his only coat. He looks adorable in this and will wear it in the house. Just be aware of the belly cut issue if you have a male dog.

My dog is 14 pounds and is a micro golden doodle so although she’s thin, she’s pretty long. I would say they run true to size. She could probably go with a small but it would’ve been short for her body type. I roll up the sleeves for her to make it work. Also, if your dog tries to catch the poof ball, you can tuck it into the hood. The sweater is of extremely high quality and is very thick. Everyone always calls her daisy the wizard when she wears it. Definitely recommend. It doesn’t run small like most doggy clothes on Amazon.

It is nice material, but do not go by the size chart on the product. By the size chart, I needed to buy an xl, but it swamped my dog. Now I have to send it back. Very disappointing.

Nice dog Hoodie. Thick, soft and covers most of my dogs stomach. Ready for -20 to -30 below temps coming up.
