Fit the case perfect. Fits all my handguns even a 1911 and a glock 19 with red dot and light without a issue.

I've used every type of case, both commercial and DIY. I have plucked the foam out of a lot of pelican cases. When I saw this, I had to get it since I already had the Pelican 1500 case that needed new foam. Some of the foam is modular so you can remove and replace when it comes to the magazine storage and the muzzle end of semis. if you are storing/transporting pistols without lights they fit right in securely, both small to large frame semi autos. Revolvers a little play where the barrel sits. If you have lights you will have to trim/cut out the foam that sits in front of the trigger guard. I was able to use my benchmade knife to cut that piece out in a way that lets it be placed back in for pistols without lights. I tried it with Streamlight TLR as well as Crimson trace pros, but any light that fits against the trigger guard will need to have the foam removed first. Note: I have not tried it with optics yst, however It appears to have enough room for a HoloSun or one of the other mirco optic platforms. the 4 star rating is because of the extra cutting that had to be done, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
