Stop! Don’t buy! It does not work.
The readings are constantly below that of a glucometer by atleast 40-50 points. It’s dangerous to mislead diabetic patients. We bought this sensor when my mom had a heart surgery and we needed to monitor her blood glucose levels constantly, to use with the Libre link app on android phone. But even after 3-4 days of using the sensor, the readings never stabilized. They are always lower by 40 -50 points. Initially we thought the readings were correct, but when we cross checked with our glicometer, they were way off. This can be dangerous for diabetic patients who think that their numbers are normal. When we reached out to the Abbott customer care, they replaced it saying it’s defective but the second one was the same. We have not seen even one reading match with our glucometers. I can understand a difference of + or- 10 points but what we were seeing was highly misleading. When we asked for a refund they said they will not refund. Also, please note this thing works only for 14 days annd they have an 3 day stabilization period! Adding to that the price is outrageous for this product with such bad performance. It’s outright cheating!

The Glucose Sensor needs replacement
The sensor is not getting activated and asking to replace the sensor. Photo shared. Please replace the sensor. For the first time I have got a Thailand made sensor. May be that is the reason.

In accurate - Does not work as intended - DO NOT BUY
In accurate - Does NOT work as intended - DO NOT BUY THE READINGS ARE WRONG, THE DIFFERENCE IS ALMOST 30 TO 40 COMPARED TO ACCUCHECK MACHINE - WASTE OF MONEY AND CANT EVEN RETURN IT - ACCUCHECK SHOWS 115 AND THE ABOTT CGM SHOWS 75....

Edited. From 1 star to 4 stars
Has accuracy issues. But can’t say for sure if it is the accucheck makes error reading or the Libre. After 21 days of use think for directional readings this is useful. Also the customer support replaced my faulty CGM after 7 days of use. Overall satisfied and I may try the CGM again. I have retained the original review, below, unedited as of now. //This is definitely not worth the hype. For one the readings are inaccurate. And the inaccuracy is not consistent. One time the CGM reading is 223 against 206 on Accucheck and at another time CGM reading is 127 against 111 in Accucheck. The readings against Accucheck were mostly odd, and on some occasions matched. This is Not just a case of wrong data, but erratic reading. This sure gives you access to data, continuous data, but of what use is the data if it lacks integraty or reliability. Worse after 7 days of use it stopped working. But by now I had already decided CGM is not for me

Don’t buy. Poor product.
Right after opening, sensor needle did not deploy. I have used these devices many times before so I’m sure I did everything by the book. On examination the needle was bent. The sensor would just not attach to the patient and finally the needle just came off. Extremely poor product design

A great CGM for health conscious diabetes
This is my 2nd sensor and I must say it has been extremely helpful to monitor and regulate my sugar levels. Also stay tuned for a small tip to extend the sensor life by about 12hrs at the end. The best part of this sensor has been the abilty to understand how my body processes food and prevents going lows. I have learnt how my sugars fluctate at night and how they work during the day. How my sugar responds to when I go running was something I always wondered since I run a lot and before it was not possible to check my glucose during workouts. The sticker of the sensor is very good and sticks well with no discomfort or itch. The sensor application too is painless and pressing on the sensor after application too does not cause any pain. I was initially worried the sensor may get loose when turning in bed during sleep, but no it holds very good. Taking showers is also no problem. Now the tip to extend the sensor life by half a day. I realised the sensors life is actually pegged at 14.5 days and even after the sensor has expired as per the reader its still continues to work. You can install the GLIMP app on your Android phone (no iOS app) and still get the reading for another 12 odd hours. It's a great buy for all diabetes but I am not happy with the reader, the review of which I have left on the reader product page. Read that too to get a complete picture of the system and how to live it.

Sensor life is unpredictable
I am sharing my experience after receiving free replacement sensor. The new sensor worked without any problem for fourteen days as promised. I am thankful and acknowledging the Abbott's customer care support for their prompt and hassle free replacement of earlier sensor(earlier sensor stopped prematurely). With my new experience, I am changing my rating fom one to three. It is bit odd to see the sensor reading is always 30 to 40 points lower than readings of built-in meter (with test strips). Again, it is also observed that the sensor reading is 40 to 50 points lower than that of Accucheck readings. One more comment related to data management- I could not transfer the data from the meter to any other device. I hope Abbott will look into such issues, reduce the cost of sensor and improve the reliability. In a short time, such devices are of great help who wants to do data- driven diabetes management. First feedback: I have bought the sensor 11th Nov and it worked for around 18 hrs. After 18 hrs, I am getting sensor ended as message. As per the operational manual, sensor life is upto 14 days and the message indicate to replace the sensor. But, I am not sure why it is failed so early. I was very happy to see the fluctuation in blood sugar reading without pricking my finger for test, but lasted only for 18 hrs. Sensor need to be more reliable and lasting, otherwise no value for money.
