This is a nice little safe for home use. It looks exactly like the listing photo. It is electronic (battery included but must be replaced over time) as well as includes 2 backup keys. It can sit on a shelf, etc., or be recessed into the drywall. It is very heavy/sturdy and easy to use in addition to being reasonably priced compared to others its size. 2 things that are important to know: (1) The backup keyhole access is behind the logo left of the keypad numbers on front. It is not easy to tell that and I didn't see it in the manual telling my to use the key and snap the little panel off to see the keyhole. (2) The combination code will not work if the battery dies, it cannot be used to open the safe. I contacted customer service from the RNPB website almost a year after purchase to get help finding the keyhole. I called as well as sending a follow-up email. I missed several of Joshua's immediate return calls, but he left a message. I also got prompt reply to my email from Luna. This company offers a variety of quality items, is VERY reliable, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

The safe was just what I needed! It's very sturdy and quite well-made. The instructions on working the device was easy to understand.

Great size to keep my cash, some important papers and Narcotic Medications in. If you have a lot papers you should get a larger size. It’s just like a hotel safe.

I purchased a safe maybe 10 years ago mainly for fire protection of family documents and safe keeping of valuables. It is smaller and on wheels, but is nice and thick. I never doubted it would protect my documents. The problem is the wheels. It's not very good at actually being a safe when someone can just break in and wheel it away. I decided to look for a safe I could mount to the wall or floor, and that was still fire proof. I decided on this one because it was in my budget. This safe is mountable to either wall or floor, however I'm doubting its ability to protect my documents during a fire. It is basically a sheet metal box with a safe door. I like the size, and the lock panel is a nice feature that was easy to set up. Mounting was fairly easy as well. However, I kept thinking my valuables are just not really safe inside. To ease my mind I ended up purchasing a fire protection pouch to put my most valuable papers inside while stored in the safe. Overall, this safe is pretty much a lock box you can mount to help prevent someone from just walking off with it. I'm really doubting the fire proof claims, and a well equipped thief could most likely cut through the walls of the safe easily with the right tools. I don't store anything extremely valuable in there, so I will probably keep it for now. I will most likely up my budget and replace it with something more sturdy at some point in the future.

The safe was purchased for our county fair. So many people are in and out of the fair office each year it was always a stress issue of making sure our money was safe. This year I saw these and decided to buy some peace of mind. Of course someone could break in and steal the safe but....it was very unlikely that during fair hours someone could carry it out of the building through hundreds of people and no one notice. It is extremely sturdy and much too heavy for a regular person to carry. We found that unlocking it with the key was a learning curve since it requires turning the key and the lock but by the end of the week it was no problem. I would highly recommend if you looking to purchase a small safe....I know it was a small price to pay for our peace of mind.

We got this safe for our kids electronics and it has been perfect for us! Our kids have either broken into or somehow deciphered every thing else we have tried to put their electronics in. We decided to try an actual safe and I love that this has a code AND a key, and not only that but they don't even know there is a key to it since the keyhole is hidden! (They definitely would be searching the house to find the keys if they knew!) I love that the keypad sound can also be turned off. My kids are Harry Houdini's so they could listen for the number of beeps we put in and eventually figure it out like the rest of our locks, but since we turned off the sound, they have no idea how long our code is! It has kept our sanity in check ever since we purchased this! It's large enough to put a chrome book, video game controllers, tv remotes, Switches, a VR headset, and if we took out the shelf, a large laptop. So far, we are very happy with our purchase!

This safe works very well. It's spacious enough to hold all the papers I need to put in it, etc. Easy to use, good value for money, sturdy, good quality. Can be stored more secure! It solved my problem in every way. It fits my needs perfectly!

A burr at the bottom of the door prevented the door from opening/closing smoothly, requiring force to bang it close or pull hard to open it. Overall, size is good. Programming is very easy; I like the fact that the key hole is hidden behind a plastic cover. I believe the key is a laser-cut key, which means it's hard to break into the safe. As far as fire rating, forget about it. It doesn't have the insulation for such protection. For weight, note that this safe is very light and can be picked up and walked away easily. However, it does come with 2 bolts that you can bolt the unit to concrete flooring. I myself bought this safe for the kiddo, who wanted to protect his candy from his siblings. It does the job for that!

If you're looking for a large, basic safe, this one is great! To start, this is NOT a fireproof, waterproof safe and RPNB doesn't state it is. The safe isn't super heavy (around 20-25lbs). Made of steel alloy, the front of the safe is pretty thick, the rest of the safe is just ok. As a deterrent, it's sufficient, and it has mounting holes. Bolted to a wall or in a corner where it would be hard to get leverage, or remove, the unit would be pretty sturdy. The unit comes with 4 anchors, and has 4 predrilled holes in the back and 4 on the bottom for mounting options. After mounting, I found little to no flex in the walls of the safe, and I could put my entire weight pulling and it doesn't move. The electronic lock works ok, but is quite picky with batteries. Put in decent batteries and it works fine. I tried some cheapo zinc chloride/carbon zinc batteries and the lock refused to work. Put in some alkaline energizer batteries and it works great. The safe comes with backup keys in case you want to bypass the electronic lock, or the lock is out of batteries. Having a back up key makes any possible electronic lock problems a non-issue. Overall a decent buy. Works well. Only thing missing might be a light, but a cheap light puck would solve that.
