A must for heavy use of wheel-on trainers
FIVE STARS. I have a wahoo kickr Snap (wheel on) trainer for indoor sessions, which obviously go way up in the winter months for me. I used the trainer for a while with a regular road tire. Once I switched to the KOM indoor trainer tire I noticed three specific improvements. The overall noise of the ride went down, it does not need air as often, and it is far more efficient in speed and response due to far less slipping. I’ve been using it over a month now and would absolutely recommend it, especially if you’re heavy indoor use on a wheel-on trainer.

Okay trainer tire
Let me say that the best thing about this tire is that its quite. The rest is just okay... hard to mount to the rim, one of the worst I've mounted ever and I've been riding for over 25 years. Next there was a wobble in the tire, it took me several tries to try to get rid of it.. at the end of it, there still a slight wobble. The tire is also unbalanced... So I guess you get what you pay for in the end. Next time I'm going back to the Tacx tire that I put on over 5000 miles before I had to change it.

Extremely quiet tire, but no durability.
Bought this Feb. 27th 2020. Arrived quickly (thanks prime!). Installed the same day it arrived. Yes, it’s a bit tough to mount. If you try and rush it, you will get a pinch flat. Get some nice thick tire levers. Not the thin cheap one that tend to come in kits and be patient. Slow and steady gets it mounted right. I’ve been using this tire for a few months now and would rate it 5 stars if it didn’t start to crack already! Don’t get me wrong, I never knew my drivetrain was so noisy until I used this tire. It does live up to being extremely quiet (for a tire on trainer). This is the reason I didn’t rate it just 1 star for not even lasting 5 months before it started to crack and split. I’ve always ensured tire pressure was not maxed and when not in use, tire pressure was released to storage pressure. I’ve used other brands, in particular, a red tire that begins with a V, which lasted almost 5 years before it deteriorated.

Great quality and value
I have tried 3 or 4 different brands of trainer tires over the past 2 seasons and this KOM tires is definitely the best! It was easier to fit on my wheel than my previous tires, and hasn't started to get torn up after the first 300 miles like my other tires. Compared to a regular road tire it does provide a quieter ride with less slipping on the trainer which is great during high powered intervals.Cant recommends it enough over the other options out there.

OK trainer tire but not quiet
For background, I use a Tacx Blue Motion trainer and previously ran a worn Continental GP4000SII. The KOM trainer tire performs OK. The standout positive was that the tire has more grip and allowed me to back off the roller tension without wheel slip. Unfortunately I don't think it is any quieter than the GP4000SII. Initially (5-10 miles) the tire was a little quieter but the longer I rode, the tire got louder and louder until it was the same as the GP4000SII. Durability wise, I have ridden the tire 415 miles and it does not show any signs of wear and it is not shedding any rubber. So if you are simply looking for a trainer tire that slips less with less roller tension, this tire seems to do the job. If you are looking for a trainer tire to make your trainer rides quieter, this isn't the tire.

This is a great tire
This tire runs really quiet. It has a max inflation pressure of 140 psi. I've seen people complaining about it being difficult to install. ALL trainer tires are very difficult to install. It's the nature of the hard rubber that they are made of. Here is a tip. First, soak this tire in very hot tap water for 15 minutes before you mount it. Then when you install it, use soapy water to lubricate it. I use dish washing liquid in a bowl of hot water. You have to nurse it on, making sure to get the bead deep into the center of the rim all the way around. It will go. A cold, stiff, dry, sticky tire will be brutal to put on.

Pinch Flat everytime
If you don't want to listen to me and want to buy this tire off of price alone make sure you buy a tube for every ride and you will only get 25 minutes out each one. This tire is quiet but it constantly produces pinch flats. I took my whole set up to a bike shop because I thought "could I be crazy and not be able to change a tube"? Nope the shop mechanic informed me that he keeps seeing this same scenario with other riders who purchased the same brand tire. Stay away buy a cheap road slick and just deal with the wear. You can at least train.

It's more supple than the Vittoria Tire
I installed this after my Vittoria Zaffiro dry rotted. I wasn't too sure about the quality of the KOM because it's not a major brand but after about 1000 miles on Zwift, I'm pretty impressed. It's softer than the Zaffiro. My only gripe is that it leaves a black track on the part of the Kickr Snap's roller that comes in contact with the tire.

EXCELLENT!!!
I love this tire!! i've had many trainer tires, but this one is by far the quietest, really smooth ride, good traction, no slipping, a really, really good trainer tire, like all trainer tires, it takes a lot of effort to mount, just take your time, use strong plastic levers and some hand strength and you'll be fine. The tire comes with a protective waxy type coating, make sure you use a wet sponge to clean it off before you ride on it or it will come off on your trainers rollersEDIT UPDATE: I really loved the performance of this tire, but I admit it's incredibly hard to mount. I think the 1st time, i was lucky, this season, it took forever to mount, just an unreasonable amount of time. I can change a tire on the road in no time flat, pardon the pun, this isn't a technique or ability thing, it's simply that this tire is so very rigid. after my second pinch flat from mounting this tire for a second season, i gave up, i didn't want to play this game anymore and switched to a kurt kinetic trainer tire, this was effortless to install and is of equal or likely higher quality too. Too bad. if they addressed this issue, it would be an excellent tire. changing to 3 stars

Do. Not. Buy! Likely not worth the effort, but great once you get it on
Do. Not. Buy.2020*Update - 1 * (down from 3 to 2)Second year having this tire.Second time putting it on, just as hard as the first. Am now through 3 tubes total due to pinches or other. Have never had this happen before. Runs quiet on the trainer but it is now more worth it to get a $50 name brand trainer tire than mess with this 💩.Wont lie, this is still the toughest tire I've ever put on (did a 24 hour stretch which helped). But after 300km, quiet, consistent and very little wear!Initial review: Kurt Kinetic, Vittoria, even Tacx, have never had a trainer tire this hard to get on. Used soap, put tire in the dryer for a few mins... Nothing. Pretty disappointed, especially as I have to swap twice a season. Won't be buying again, even if it's great on the trainer, if I ever get it there.

An accurate review of a quality tire.
These are used on carbon rims with 19mm inside rim width 25mm outside. All trianer tires are a little stiffer to mount. I used Continential trainer tires previous which are not even close to the quality of the Vee Rubber KOM tire. I am riding these on Inside Ride Emotion rollers which is a true test of what these tires can withstand. Zero noise from the tire compared to the previous Continential which were also uneven and slipped while in a standing sprint. These KOM's are 10 out of 10. Running them at 120psi and love the 25mm width tire on rollers. For customers that are having trouble mounting them maybe try finishing at the valve stem and not starting at the valve as most do.

Great product for the price!
This tire worked exactly as expected, stopped the slippage when using my Saris M2 trainer. With the normal road tire, I was slipping when the trainer was set for about 6% slope. Now I can ride up to about 18-20% without much slippage (unless I crank HARD!)Others have complained about the tire bead being too tight, I didn't have a problem and was able to install the tire without tools - just thumbs and the palms of my hands. Definitely hard work but after decades of experience changing bike tires I know that patience and strategic pushes will coax it into place. Also as others mentioned, there was initially a bit of rubber transferred onto the trainer's hub surface, but after about 4-5 rides, I cleaned it off and it's not happening now.Overall, I'd say this tire is as good or better than many other trainer tires, and a bit cheaper so win win.

Perfect solution
Worked so much better than the regular outdoor tires. Much quieter and less rolling resistance. Based on other reviews I cleaned the tire first. There was still some residue from the seam, and as the pressure drops it can leave a line of residue on the trainer but it cleans itself once the pressure is brought back up. Works best at between 100-110psi for me. After about 400km it shows no sign of wear. Had no issues installing it with 2 plastic levers.
