I purchased this black skull cap to wear outside. I was kind of disappointed in my purchase. When I opened the plastic bag and took out of the black skull cap, I was kind of confused. I was thinking, “What is this?” I envisioned it to be slightly different. As much as I wanted to like this product, I couldn’t.It is made from breathable fabric, but I think that’s because the fabric is so thin and flimsy. I also think it would tear easily. I think it will break after a few uses and washes. However, it does look better on and does fit my head perfectly fine without any issues. I don’t think that it would properly keep your head warm during the winter time. I think it’s better to wear during the summer time because it’s so thin.The other thing that I have a problem with is the stitching. I feel like it’s not secure. It seems like it would fall apart after a few washes. I’m not sure if you could see in the pictures, but the threads look quite loose. The fabric of this skull cap is soft and breathable similar in appearance to black pantyhose but considerably thicker. The thickness adds enough durability for this to be worn over and over again without breaking. As such I wear it under my bike helmet to make it a little warmer and more comfortable in the colder weather.
