Exact replacement, worked perfect
This lock actuator was a perfect replacement for a 2005 Acura MDX right rear passenger door.I would suggest looking for some YouTube videos before replacing though as the instructions could have been more complete. Some comments though: Acura apparently built the door latch assembly with the intention it would be replaced as a complete assembly with the actuator. The actuators fail frequently however. They can be replaced without removing the entire latch assembly from the door. Again lots of YouTube videos.I would caution however that the small #2 Phillips screws that attaches the actuator to the latch are hard to remove without damage. Acura used thread lock on the original screws, so getting them started without damage while in the door takes some care. I used a #2 Phillips head for a 3/8" ratchet and about a 3" extension. This gave me an offset screw driver that I was able to maintain significant pressure on the screw when initially unscrewing it. You DO NOT want to strip the head of this screw, as you need to take the old actuator off. You will also need to REUSE the original screw as the actuator does not come with the screw. There is also a plastic slim jim protective cover that needs to be removed. It does appear that you could remove the actuator without removing the cover as there are holes in it over the screws, but the YouTube video I watched suggested removing it, and I would agree it is easier. It does add more steps though. Also, you need to take care not to drop screws into the door.Removing the old actuator after removing the screws, and inserting the new actuator and aligning the actuator control was pretty easy. This actuator does not claim to be OEM, but really it was a perfect fit and perfect match. It may not be OEM, but it sure looks like it came out of the same factory. I can't say how long it will work, but initial installation and operation was fine. Given how bad the Acura OEM is I doubt it would be any worse and possibly better.

Good for parts...
It fits, but does not have all the parts! Some electrical contacts are jusr not present. Also the arm does not align properly. I had to swap the motor into the old unit to ensure proper function and safety.

Missing pins and bad customer service
Fits 1 generation mdx BUT the part was missing pins. So basically useless. I contacted support / seller and no response back. Bad service, bad product and waste of money. Don't believe me? Try for yourself and suffer.

Wrong arm for back window
They don’t fit the front and back. I have to replace the arm with the old one to fit the back door.. They are different and the old one will work.
