Tasty and convenient
For what they are, a boxed meal, I think they are great. I eat them about two times a week. I'm old, don't go out that much anymore, and don't cook except with the slow cooker and once in a while the toaster oven. It's best not to compare fresh and prepared meals or you will probably always find them lacking. Just take it for what it is: tasty and convenient. I just dump the noodles, and the two packets into the box with one cup of water and it comes out fine. I would say if they aren't cooking thoroughly you might have a microwave with low wattage. Need about 1100-1200. Most directions are made for that number. You can compensate for that by cooking longer.

Quick & Yummy
This is my go-to for a quick vegan & gluten free meal. Cooks perfectly every time and is quite tasty.

Fantastic Quick Meal!
First of all, the only reason that I am reviewing this is I can't believe how harsh some of the reviews were.Get real people, don't buy an instant noodle dish and complain that is isn't as good as aThai Resteraunt, that is silly. My wife picked a couple of them up to have for an emergency. I was delightfully surprised at how easy it was to make, and how tastey it was as well.I made the box and then tossed in a little cooked chicken breast that I had in the fridge.No... It was not as good as the Thai Resteraunt in the center of our town... But that was not my expectation.Bottom line, nice quick, tastey meal that can be made in 5 min in your microwave, and you can jazz it up with extras if you want.

Should be called, Noodles in Some Kind of Sauce, not pad thai
Love pad thai, order it all the time. This product though, if you gave it to me in a blind taste test, I would never say, "oh hey, that's pad thai!". NEVER. So save yourself some money, time and wasted calories. Eat the real thing, or eat something else. This does not pass as genuine pad thai by any stretch of the imagination. Barely any spice, or authentic pad thai seasoning. Noodles are so so. Why did I torment myself with this product, why???

a tragic outrage
This is not Pad Thai. This is not even close. I'm fairly perturbed with A Taste of Thai. They pull you in with their clever and attractive packaging, particularly the white lettering on the blue background with the orange roof. However, the packaging is the only well done component of this wretched concoction. Genuine pad thai is a delightful frolic on one's taste buds, a delicate melange of sweet and spicy, tender noodles, the crunch of green onions and peanuts, the soothing succulence of the sauce. This version, on the other hand, is a hideous travesty. It is a vast and tragic outrage, a great evil, and it should not be allowed.

So bad it is surprising
So bad it is surprising. It has a chemical taste to it. How can they get something so simple, so wrong?

Suitable for packing material
This is, by far, the worst quick-cook noodle meal I have ever experienced. Following the directions to the letter resulted in a carton full of hard, unchewable strands in flavored mop water, with bits of nuts in it. The final product fills the carton approximately 1/4 of the way up. The rest is for show. Be assured, I followed the directions and even gave it a few extra minutes to soak up the liquid and possibly swell up to normal noodle consistency, but to no avail. Avoid this garbage at all costs.
