This chuck is well made, not sure how long it will last though, as a part is made of brass..However, it replaces a hand held tool, it now has allowed me to use “Dremel” style tools in it.It runs very true, ie, no runout!

It arrived earlier that the predicted date, but I was kept informed. I used click and collect, and the shop I chose for that were friendly and helpful. I need to actually use it to be sure it works out as planned, but if it does (which looks very likely) I will be buying more.

The Brass shaft and thread seems aligned OK, but is annoyingly not Dremel compatible, theBlack Chuck is Steel and has triple sprung cam jaws, so it far better that easy to crack Brass Chucks, but is ruined by significant off-centring, thus visible wobble of the chuck at low speed, causing enough wobble to be unusable for precision or high speed use work, this wobble causing significant vibration and load on a motor, at speed, which could be dangerous! I saw this quality failure with both sets!It isn't worth trying to return them, because I'd probably lose too much on postage.I think that all "precision" chuck suppliers should stop idiotically "reinventing the wheel" and just supply, preferably Steel, shaft collars with a Dremel compatible thread, so that high-speed, precision, Dremel compatible Steel Chucks can be used instead!
