People who have had difficulty preparing a cup of coffee in this tool
To those who had difficulty preparing a cup of coffee using the Vietnamese tool successfully, I also failed at the beginning to prepare a cup of coffee perfectly, but in this comment I will try to summarize what I concluded in the correct preparation method. First, the tool has a capacity of 6 ounces, which corresponds to 15 grams of coffee and 180 ml, including hydration exactly, and the grind is similar to the filter grind or a little coarser so as not to cause the holes at the bottom to be blocked, making the coffee preparation take a longer and more boring time, as the actual preparation does not exceed two and a half to three minutes at most, so when you put the coffee beans in the tool after grinding, shake it aside until the surface of the coffee is level, then place the basket and the last perforated piece gently and without pressure, then pour the water very slowly and in a circular manner of 30 ml and wait 30 seconds, then continue slowly to 180 ml. The important thing here is to pour the water slowly and in a circular manner. So that the piece does not tip over and the coffee comes out from the bottom to the top, which is the problem that many people face in this particular case, then continue pouring the water slowly, as every time you see the water go down and touch the obelisk, it increases gradually, and if you see the basket starting to tilt, adjust it calmly, then wait until the water level goes down from the inner basket or the coffee, and the coffee will be ready... / And enjoy the taste of coffee in a quiet place away from any noise... / Another note (the type of coffee, the degree of roasting, and the degree of grinding, this equation is what determines the result of the taste in the end) I tried to summarize, but the picture will not be clear enough

Works as advertised, good quality
I’ve been looking for low cost coffee filter to make small cups with no waste. Also something that’s easy to clean. This fits the bill pretty good, nice and compact and doesn’t take up much space.Build construction is stainless steel with 2 sets of perforated holes. One set on the lower tray which supports the upper filter, one set on the filter itself. There are two plastic pegs on the side you can use to pickup the unit afterwards without burning your fingers. These are press fit on some stainless pegs on the sides of the unit.It makes a decent coffee. I’ve tried both Vietnamese style (with condensed milk) and just straight up black coffee.Coffee strength is entirely up to the user and depends on how much you put in and how tight you pack it.Getting the correct grind size may take some trial and error if you don’t buy coffee specifically for a Vietnamese style maker.Standard pre-ground coffee will be too fine, you’ll want something a bit coarser.Process is easy enough, put in the grinds, level it off, put the filter on your cup, drizzle a small amount of hot water around 200f, let it sit for 30 seconds. Then top it up completely, cover and wait. Takes a few minutes to work it’s way through. (Also depends on how much you use and your grind size).Cleaning is easy, just rinse it all out with water when you’re done.I wasn’t sure if i should go with the screw down or gravity insert. Decided on gravity because, well, less things to do = easier, and there didn’t seem to be a consensus on the internet as to which method was better. Works just fine as far as I can tell.Negatives? Nothing of note, my only complaint would be the sticker on the side of the filter. I wish manufacturers would use less aggressive adhesive on their labels. It’s a pain to remove all the residue.Overall happy with the filter, I use it quite often when it’s just me who wants a small cup, no need to run a full pot or use up a disposable filter on the full size machine.

Great little product, but get the 11 oz
I got rid of my coffee maker bc it took up too much counter space. Then I used a press, but I was wasting a lot of coffee as I didn't drink it all; and it was messy to clean. I don't like the K-cup style makers as they waste too much plastic, and I wanted a non-plastic single use item. This fit the bill PERFECTLY! The only thing is I wish I would have gotten the 11 oz size, as I drink a big cup of coffee. I love it, and it is so easy to use and clean. I would highly recommend.

Addictive
So good it’s bad. I never used to have sugar in my coffee. Now I’m addicted to Vietnamese coffee. These work great. I have two sizes.
