Great speakers that really enhance the sound from portable turntables. Much better than the tinny sound from turntable built in speakers. Bluetooth function works well and RCA Phono inputs and Auxiliary inputs work great. You have to hold down the power button at the back of the left speaker then press it for Auxiliary and again for RCA Phono connection. Very happy with sound quality, would recommend.

Nice looking speakers. Bought them to match the turntable. Would've preferred a bit more power and treble/ bass control. Connectivity is OK. Bluetooth works. RCA is the only hardware connection. So if you're hoping th get a bit more power by replacing passives, you'll need to chop the existing speaker cables and buy some RCA connectors. Don't be fooled by the pictures of speaker cable connectors. They're not inputs; they connect the 2 speakers to each other. Noisy start up and power down. Chunky and well made.

Using for vinyl and Spotify. A little confused by the instructions when changing inputs but not hard to figure out. No RCA cable supplied, instead you get an RCA to aux adapter which was disappointing, luckily I had one in the man drawer though. On the plus side they’re great speakers for the price and they look very smart. Excellent sound, love the clarity of the bass.

I received a defective product. The Right side speaker was not working properly, there was no sound.

I've had these several months now and I'm not a hi-fi enthusiast, I just wanted some nice-looking speakers for my turntable that sounded good to an untrained ear and were loud enough to fill the room for a party. On those criteria, these are great. I'm happy with the sound and they look lovely—way more expensive than they are. The problem with them is that for some unimaginable reason the designers thought it would be a great idea for them to make a really loud, long, cheery series of blooping noises on switch-on and shut down. And also to have an automatic shut-down that kicks in after just a few minutes left idle. So if you don't leap out of your chair and flip to the B-side, your speakers will scare the crap out of you and anyone standing near them after a very short period of time—and then you will have to go switch the things on again, which means rooting around behind the speakers, pressing and holding down an awkward button until it makes that horrendous noise again, and then, if you have it wired up rather than bluetooth, pressing and holding the button yet again for a hard-to-determine but always longer than it takes for the first track to kick in amount of time until they switch to wired mode. Every time. This combination is beyond annoying and I don't think I'd have bought these if I'd realised I'd spend the next few years dealing with it, so I'll probably replace them when I can afford to. It's a shame as otherwise they're great for the money. But if this sort of thing is going to irritate you as much as it does me, I'd shop around.

Looked like it had been repaired before. Hot glue or something similar on the board inside the speaker.
