Dar Shems Fouta: Multi-Purpose Pool & Beach Towel (Red)

The Fouta is not as soft as remember during my times in Tunisia, but with usage, the blanket will get softer. The quality of the product is much higher than what the marketing efforts/pictures show. This is a great throw blanket for picnics/beach that has the durability coupled with a prettier design than your standard inexpensive chain retailer offerings. Do not judge the craftsmanship of the product by the description. This is much better than I was expected or how it was described.

What a sweet sarong. I love how versatile this product is and that it can be used in a variety of ways. I'm sure i'll find some use for it. Personally i like the blue more because I feel inadequate when i wear pink/light red.please forgive my grammer as i'm a country bumpkin

During a recent trip to Africa, I saw some beautiful hand made towels in a local market but unfortunately by the time we finished eating the market had closed and I had missed my chance to purchase them. This fouta is perfect and reminds me of the fabrics in that local market on my trip. We use our fouta as a picnic blanket, it is lightweight and folds up small enough to easily fit in a picnic basket or backpack and is the perfect size for 2 people and lunch. This fouta is unique and provides something a little more original than the towels everyone else brings to the beach.

My fouta is far more attractive IRL than the seller's photos suggest. I purchased the blue option, and its gold threading provides a bright contrast that is more beautiful than anticipated. It's not made of cotton loops, like a typical bath towel, but from fabric that makes it more like a beach blanket. It's well-woven and seems to be slightly heavier and more durable than others versions I've seen. It takes me to the beaches of El Haouaria.

Beautifully made and works well to use on a lounge chair. It was a windy day, so I tied the ends on to the chair, and mine was the only towel that stayed. Love it!

The towel is perfect for what we needed. The pictures do not do this thing justice, it is a true gem and I don't know what we would do without it when at the beach. The seller was quick and responsive to my inquiries about the product.
