Functional, Spacious and Minimalist… JUST PERFECT!
I used to have a Pop Quiz backpack made by Herschel, and while it is a good quality bag, it lacked a handful of features I needed in my daily and travel life; so, naturally, my search for a replacement began. Originally, I intended to replace my Herschel bag with the the most popular backpack made by Nomatic: the Travel Pack. Don’t get me wrong, that backpack is also gorgeous, but while I’m sure it’s just the perfect backpack for a trip, it’s just perfect for that, not for daily commute (it is slightly too big to carry with you everywhere you go on a daily basis). I definitely needed something good enough for both travel and daily commute and while at first, I couldn’t find something that suited me fine, after a long search on the web, I found the Navigator Pack 15L (coincidentally also made by Nomatic!). I have to say just one thing about this backpack… WOW! This is by far the best backpack for any tech/travel/minimalism enthusiast. It literally fits every single tech device/item I need to have on me while I travel and in my daily life (well, besides my PS5 and Screen Monitor lol). Here’s the list of items I could fit in this beauty of a backpack: Water Bottle Pocket: 1. Hydro Flask - 21 oz (621 mL) Skyline Standard Mouth w/ Flex Cap Watter Bottle Main Compartment: 2. Victorinox - Toiletry Kit 3. tomtoc - Tech Pouch for Nintendo Switch Lite Charger/USB-C to USB-A Nintendo Controller Cable/Kanex MultiSync Foldable Travel Keyboard/Kanex Travel Keyboard Charging Cable/Lamicall Adjustable iPhone/Nintendo Switch Tablet Stand 4. HORI - Slim Tough Pouch for Nintendo Switch Lite 5. Amazon Basics - Travel Umbrella 6. Pxinhui TM - Hard Shell Tech Case for Mophie Power Bank XL 15,000 mAh/Mophie Power Bank Charging Cable/Samsung DUO Plus USB Type-C Flash Drive 256GB/Nonda USB C to USB Adapter/Kingston SD Adapter/Extra USB-C lightning cable (1m) for iPhone/Polishing Cloth 7. tomtoc - Case for Pro Controller for Nintendo Switch 8. LTGEM - Hard Shell Case for Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2 Travel Speaker Mesh Pockets: 9. Pubamall - Waterproof Backpack Rain Cover + Matador - Droplet Water Resistant Stuff Sack 10. ProCase - Hard Shell Case for Samsung T7/ T7 Touch Portable SSD 11. Oceas - Pocket Blanket 12. BeeGreen - Foldable Grocery Bag 13. PAXLamb - Pocket First Aid Kit (6,3x4,3 in/16x11 cm) RFID Safe Zipper Pocket: 14. Apple - 67W USB-C Power Adapter + USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable (2 m) for MacBook Pro Mesh Zipper Pocket: 15. Nabob Leather - Oval Rubber Coin Purse Change Holder (attached to the backpack’s included Key Strap Holder) 21. Bellroy - Key Cover Plus 22. Bellroy - Card Sleeve 23. Zero Grid - Passport Holder Laptop Pocket: 24. Foldermate - Documents Plastic Folder (goes outside of the Dividing Wall) 25. Apple - MacBook Pro (14-inch, M1 Pro, 2021) (goes in the False Bottom Laptop Compartment) Outside: 26. Victorinox - TSA Mini Padlock (to lock either the Laptop Pocket or the Main Compartment) 27. Canotagio - Luggage Tag (side handle) 28. Heroclip - Carabiner (mini) (top handle) 29. Cabeau - Travel Neck Pillow for Airplanes (attached to the Heroclip mini) 30. Crazy Creek - HEX 2.0 Original Chair for Camping (attached to the Heroclip mini and the External Carry Straps) 30 items fit without a single problem! Also, notice how almost everything included in the list, comes with its own case or pouch; so once again just picture in your head how spacious this thing really is! In the pictures attached to this review, you can check out how everything should be organized to perfectly fit into every compartment of the backpack. Props to Nomatic, THIS BAG IS JUST PERFECT!

Compact versatility
I have tried a number of back packs as an airline carry on. This back pack is by far the most convenient in terms of its compact size with the ability to expand its capacity. Structurally it’s semi rigid shell and design help it to sit comfortably when carrying it on one shoulder. All other pack packs I have tried tend to slide off. If I had to change anything, I would ad a quick access to store wallet and passport. I would also add dedicated pen holder. In the grand scheme these are only personal preferences. There is a small quick access pocket at the top and one can easily access the main compartment that has pockets to secure these items. I love the hide away water bottle holder. Highly recommend it!

This is a good one
I am absolutely vibing with this bag. Read some reviews about the internal bottle issues, but mine was an external mesh pouch which fits a wine bottle with little effort. If you don't need to use it, it zips up out of the way. For a little context, I am a massive fan GoRuck and Arc'teryx gear and this bag would sit right with those. It is highly functional and very streamlined both of which make it an amazing everyday bag for work. It fits a 16-in MacBook very snugly with the laptop area does not go to the bottom of the bag so you don't need to worry about banging your gear when you put your bag down. I frequently need to make adjustments to the internal areas as a lot of bag companies leave you with a couple of very large pouches which means you end up mixing gear together, which is not the end of the world but makes it a little hide and go seek, and while I love feeling like a magician that pulled a rabbit out of a hat, the segmented array of pouches along the back area make very convenient storage. Opposite of them are the typical large pouches which store Bose QuietComfort over ears on the bottom and my typical assortment of sunglasses, wallet and car keys on the top. On the very top of the bag is a felt lined pouch with a cord access area, meaning you can put a power bank in the bag and throw your phone in a nice protected area to charge. It's a little tight for oakleys but but fits a pair of Ray-Bans just fine as well if you want to throw sunglasses up there for easy access. If I had to pick one area for feedback, it's that the external/ patch is a little smaller than most. I typically don't put much more than a paperback book in there, however, there is a small zipper compartment that stores a passport very conveniently. I haven't had to expand the bag yet for the extra storage but it is very easy to do and I can imagine extremely convenient if you wanted to overload the bag a bit and then zip it tight and make the whole bag act like a compression sack.

Great travel backpack for computer-etc.
I really like this one- semi hard shell- tight zipping compartments and the extra handles make it easy for me to carry or stack on my roller bag/ Despite the description- I actual am able to fit 3 slim laptops into this along with all the power supplies- mice portable monitor. Exactly what I wanted as it is not a sloppy unformed backpack! It is a cross between brief case (which I used to use all the time) and a backpack which is more convenient.

Terrible build quality for a "premium" bag
For a "premium" bag, this looks like it's still being manufactured in early kickstarter phases. The stitching on all the straps looks like it was hand sewn by someone who is drunk. Not like it was professionally manufactured somewhere. It makes it look far cheaper than the $40 bags you can find that look similar here on Amazon.

I purchased this backpack thinking that I was getting a current Nomatic Navigator pack. Instead, I found that this pack is actually v1 or some prior version of the backpack. The sideways pouch on the front of the current model has pen loops and some pockets. In this earlier model, it's just a plain pouch. The water bottle pouch on the new model can be used internally or externally. On this prior version, it's internal only and is fully sealed at the top. Unless I literally cut the top of the water bottle pouch off, I can't put a bottle on the bag externally. Price wise, this was about 60% of the price of the new one, so I suppose I should have known it was a prior model, or used, etc. There would have to be a reason for the reduction. That being said, I think the vendor should be clear about what version they are selling, so you don't disappoint people unnecessarily. I'll still keep the pack, and even though both of those features I noted were ones that I wanted, I'll just do without and won't use this vendor again. Next time, I'll buy direct and have it shipped up. The pack itself is still a great pack, and holds a lot more than 15L justifiably should. The profile is sleek and all my daily carry goodies can fit with room to spare. Between this bag and my underseat bag, I have everything I need for a two week stay somewhere, so that's saying something. I used to use a military pack, and this pack clearly has more thinking put into pouch location and features than anything on my old military pack, even with all the military accessories you can pick up for it. So, as long as you don't need those two features, this price IS less than the price of the current version at Nomatic, and not by a little bit. It's still a very expensive pack, don't get me wrong, but it's one of those times where you get what you pay for.
