Quaker Old Fashioned Smooth & Creamy Grits, 24 oz - PACK OF 2

Nothing to really write home about! I purchased this while I was down range! I really love grits, so I guess that's why I bit the bullet and grabbed it. Because it's MUCH CHEAPER from Walmart... but again, I was deployed and it was delivered! It wasn't stale or anything so it cooked, felt, and taste like it was supposed to! Since I'm back, I'll go back to buying from the store!

As a very old "old time," I grew up eating grits almost every day. Now as an adult, I can still enjoy this wonderful delight because it is so simple and easy to fix. My wife and I had almost forgotten about how easy this wonderful food can be prepared, but I recently bought some after a long-time hiatus. These are far superior to the new kind of "Minute Grits" or even "5-minute Grits." I can put these on to cook first and then by the time I have everything else ready for breakfast or whichever meal and the grits will be ready too.

This product is a staple in homes where there is a strong history of southern food. It’s strictly a breakfast choice that is served with bacon and eggs or other meats such as shrimp! Ummm good!

These all have arrived with broken packaging. In addition, the price is exactly twice what it is at Walmart. So price gouging and inferior packaging.

Even my local H‑E‑B only carries instant or quick grits. This is what you want for the right texture. Shipping was quicker than expected.

I couldn't wait to prepare a pot of Quaker's Grits with cheese. In five minutes you can fill your tummy with delicious, creamy, and filling goodness. Yes, butter and salt not sugar for my grits. The 2-pack will last much longer without the bulky package.
