Delicious cake cookies !

I’ve tried a few different brands of Taiwanese pineapple cake. Sunny Hill is the best but since I can only find it online for $60 this gives me my fix. It’s much better than the cheap kind in the Asian grocery stores that you get for $4 a sleeve. A tad on the dry side for my taste so I enjoy it with coffee or tea.

I've had alot of pineapple cakes in my life. This one is my favorite because of the flavor, large size, and affordable price point. The box is sturdy and looks nice, could be a good gift. Each cake comes individually wrapped with a plastic mold to keep it's shape and also a desiccant to keep the cake fresh. That way you don't have to worry about opening a package and eating all 10 at once.

The pineapple filling had a strong artificial flavour. It was not too sweet but not a pleasant flavour. Thick, sticky filling with not enough texture. The outer cookie was a little too dry.

This snack is very sweet and I don't like the taste of it. It doesn't feel like pure pineapple pulp.

We always looking forward buying this delicious Taiwanese pineapple cakes. We tried few other brands, find out this one particular, better quality and the best taste so far!

Don’t waste your money on these. They are full of preservatives and artificial flavors. They are dry and have little taste other than the sugary, dry pineapple filling.

It been a while since I been to Taiwan and had these kind of cakes so it hard to say if this as good as those. I will say the ones in Taiwan expirer day was shorter which makes me wonder if they had less preservatives added or something, but with this shipping over see's and different place longer expiry date requirements make since. That being said these are buttery and sweet and very good. Defiantly will by again, though probably not often for they are about quite expensive :). But they are nice for a treat to remember my trip to that lovely country.
