Crispier with more oil on your plate—or softer with less oil. —> There’s NO pieces-sticking-to-each-other problem—and neither do any pieces stick to the tava (shallow fry). —> Of course you can’t expect a frozen snack to taste just like “real aloo tikki,” but McCain comes as close as I believe is possible! —> Unlike many frozen snacks, McCain’s aloo tikki can be fried (deep or shallow) for pretty much as long as you like: Fry it less and there’s more taste but poorer texture; fry it more and there’s less taste but better texture. Other snacks tend to have a strict time window within which you need to take them off the tava or out of the frying bowl. Overall, highly recommended. Five plus stars.
