This phone holder looks really cool - kind of like a piece of modern art the way the arm coils. More importantly, it’s so versatile and useful.1 Speakerphone - this has been my main use for this. My iPhone 5S is my only phone, so I use it for personal calls and for work. At work, I clamp the holder to my desk and use my speakerphone to make calls. Since it doesn’t take space up on my desk, I can move the phone close to my face and freely take notes while I’m talking to clients.2 Facetime - my niece and nephew are always facetiming me, so this allows me to place my phone in the perfect spot while I’m talking to them. I can clamp this to my desk or any other table or shelf.3 Watching Netflix - this phone holder allows me to sit back and enjoy my movie hands free at the best viewing angle. It’s so nice to have to hold my phone the whole time.4 Selfies - A nice way to take selfies. You’ll need to use the timer or a remote for this. I’m not really a fan of selfie sticks so I use a remote. This gives me a great way to hold me phone up. Before, I had to prop it up against books or boxes. My facebook is now updated! :)5 GPS - this is so perfect for the car. I don’t like sticking things to my dashboard, windshield, or airvent. I also don’t want to stick things to my phone. The clamp on this holder allows you to find a spot (such as between the cupholders) without permanently affixing a holder to your car. It was hard for me to use Waze before, but now it’s so much easier to follow the directions because I can position this in just the right spot.Other notes:The clamp that holds your device opens up to just under four and a half inches. This should be enough for just about any smart phone. It won’t hold tablets and oversized smart phones. Be sure to measure your device if you aren’t sure.You have to have the arm coiled in order for it to be sturdy enough to hold your phone. I tried straightening it out, but then my phone just sagged. After some use, I realized that flexible arm is meant to be coiled because that allows you to place the phone at a variety of angles. If you want a straight arm, you have to find a holder that’s stiff, which I think is quite limiting as far as viewing angles and such.I’m quite happy with this phone holder and hope that this review will help you decide.I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, all opinions are mine. This solves a problem I have had for a long time. I'm really amazed at how clever this gadget really is. I needed a hands free for GPS in my car as well as for watching movies (not while driving of course <giggle>). Also, I like to read recipes from my phone in the kitchen as I am cooking and I don't want to get the phone full of messy ingredients, but I need it to be positioned so I can read, and this works great for that.I have to admit I was skeptical when I ordered this item, but I was offered a discount for my honest review, so it seemed like the time was right to buy it. I like it so much I think I will get another at the regular price in a different color to leave attached in my car. This one is white. The most important feature is how well built and sturdy this is. It is true it is hard to uncoil the arm, and open the clip, but I want that in a devise of this type so that I can be sure it stays put, and boy does it ever stay put.The rigid coil extends out to 2 feet. The part that grips the phone opens to about 4.5 inches and it tilts up and down as well as swiveling left to right and round and round because it is on a ball that rotates. And the big clip on the bottom that attaches to furniture opens to about 2.5 inches. All the attachments are padded so as not to scratch phone or furniture.I read the other reviews and I didn't have the same problems as others did. I have painful, arthritic hands and a loss of strength because of it and though it was hard to open the bottom clip I was able to do so, without trouble using both hands. Mine holds its position very well and does not bounce around when I adjust it. The key to this is to adjust the little screw cap that attaches to the ball. If that is not snug the device could flop around. The plastic is a much higher quality than I expected, and it was easy to put together, being only three pieces.

This cell phone holder clip works very well. It is a coil type so you can set it wherever you want it can click on to anything that you want to clip onto, like the Cup holder in your car, or even onto your rearview mirror if you haven't hung upside down. You can also put it onto your sunvisor in your car and it stays very well as the clip is very strong and sturdy. This can also be used inside for Skype being or Viber chat as you can clip it onto a table so it will hold in place as opposed to having to hold the phone during the whole conversation. I got the red color it comes in blue black and red, I actually ordered the red by mistake but it is a nice red it's not to stand outish and it works very well. I like that it is adjustable because you can set it to fit different phones, it could even clip onto my GPS to keep it in place so that I can see it as opposed to the suction cup on the dashboard which always falls off and then I can't see where I'm going which I like to see. It is a very sturdy cell phone holder, it comes in two parts the coil part and the clip which attaches to the coil part so that you can attach it to whatever you wanted to clip onto. The clip is very strong, which is good it's not going to break if you drop it, which I don't plan on doing LOL. The part that attaches to your phone is also sturdy and very well adjustable so that you can use it on different size phones. I am very pleased with this product as it is holding up very well and I'll talk to my phone nice and safely, I don't feel like it's going to fall off while I'm driving which would be really bad. It is the Well made universal phone holder and the clip is very well-made as well. I am very pleased with my purchase.
