Broke down n 3 months
Cheap plastic. The flap that opens and closes is hard to keep in place when mounting and the small tabs broke off in 3 months jamming the lint filter causing lint backup and blowing the insert off of the house. Fire hazard and non functional. These people should be ashamed and banned from Amazon

used to vent range hood exhaust. Attached to wood frame with wood siding. A little pricey for plastic but welcome to inflation in the USA. Still a reasonable cost

Not the best
It fits fine, butthe lid closure is tricky. This matters whenyou remove face plate to clean lint. You have to seat lid on narrow hinge just right or it wont close. Better designs are available.

WORTHLESS JUNK !
TOTALLY WORTHLESS JUNK ! It lasted about 7 months. The cover keeps disconnecting from the housing and the door flapper broke. This thing is garbage…what a waste of time and money installing this !

It’ll help keep mice out of your dryer vent
Easy to install, and I like the little trap door that will help prevent rodents from crawling into the dryer. I had that happen once today it was awful.
