Great product!
I recently purchased this SFF-8644 to Mini SAS SFF-8088 cable, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The cable was packaged securely and arrived in perfect condition. The build quality is excellent, with a durable design and solid connectors that fit snugly without any issues. After connecting it, everything worked flawlessly—data transfer is fast and stable, with no connection drops or signal interference. It’s clear this cable is well-made and designed for reliability. If you need a high-quality SAS cable for your storage setup, I highly recommend this one!

Very finicky, unreliable --> (Updated / Changed; everything is now good)
UPDATED REVIEW (March 29, 2020): After discussions with the manufacturer, and performing additional tests, it was determined that I had received an older version of the cables. They sent me the newer version at no cost. After testing with the new cables, which included a lot of cable movement / adjustments while the RAID arrays were built and running, there were no dropped drives or reliability issues at all. Everything worked perfectly. I'll also add that it was a real pleasure working with the supplier, as they were very professional and friendly throughout the process. As such, I've changed my review from 2 stars up to 5 stars. I would do business again with 10Gtek in the future, and recommend them. ________________________________________________ Previous post from February 4, 2020: (***NOTE: This is the outdated report that does not contain all the information and does not reflect current perspectives. It is only retained for historical purposes.) I have two LSI MetaRAID 9361-8i cards in a VMware host, each which are linked to an Intel 36x expander card. I have two sets of cables (four cables in all) in order to connect those expander cards to an external chassis. I first purchased a set of cables from another manufacturer that were twice the cost of these ones. When I came across these cables by 10Gtek and saw the much lower price, and the high user ratings, I thought these would be a great purchase for the second expander card. Both sets of cables have been in operation for a couple months now. Verdict: These less expensive cables have dropped connections numerous times, causing arrays to have to be rebuilt. Thankfully we haven't lost any data yet. Any time these cheaper cables are even bumped or moved a few inches in the middle portion of the cable (without touching the connection points), they almost always lose disks in the array, causing degraded arrays, and greater risk to losing data. By contrast, that has never once happened with the more expensive cables from the other manufacturer: even when moved, those expensive cables consistently maintain their connections to the drives.

Nice SFF-8088 cable for the price and speed of receiving it
I picked this up to test if I had a failing cable, card, or controller in a DAS unit. The cable itself came in a reusable package and looked to be good quality, albeit slightly thinner than the EMC cable it was replacing for testing. After installing it, everything worked as expected, no issue, no increase in errors or anything to the sort. In the end my problem turned out to be a controller, but this cable is still the one I'm using and I've relegated the EMC cable to the back shelf as this one is much easier to cable manage, insert, and remove.

Works fine, cable a little stiff
Cable works fine: device still works and connectors seem solid. I use this for an old DAS device where the SFF-8088 to SFF-8088 was damaged. I wish the cable was a bit more flexible, but it works and it's the correct length. I'm taking off one start because the cable is a bit stiff compared to my last one and it made cable management a bit difficult.

Durable and Works as Expected
This Mini SAS cable has a sturdy feel and provides reliable data transmission. I used it for my RAID setup, and it performed flawlessly—no drop in speed, no signal interference, and the connectors fit snugly without any looseness. The braided exterior adds to the durability, and it’s clear this cable will hold up well over time. If you need a high-quality SAS3.0 cable for server, SAN, or RAID configurations, this one is worth considering.

Very robust cable!
This is a high quality cable that was the perfect length for hooking my disk rack to my server. It looks very well built, and it plugged in and connected instantly with no issues.

Work as intended. Needed to connect 4jbods and 18 lto 6 tape drives to a server through lsi9300 cards and these cables do the job fine. Title says three pack, it's not, just a single cable which I'd assumedb was the case based on the price

New server arrived with a 12 Gb/s SAS HBA. Old server has a 6 Gb/s SAS HBA. This was exactly what we needed to avoid having to put an old HBA into the new server or replace the existing and very expensive peripheral. And it was at a better price than the server supplier could offer!

Poor quality cable which does not work. Compared to another cable that I have, the connector is not robust and does not snap securely.
