Should have bought this first. Tried a cheaper version that didn't work out..

Purchased this for a remodel I am working on. Seems durable and a good price for the money.

I needed some extensions to position a right angle adapter 3 feet away to drill a vertical hole in an inaccessible location, so I ordered two of these extensions from Diablo to complement my existing Irwin 12" non-impact extension. I chose the Diablo because unlike the slightly less expensive standard extension from Irwin these are made of hardened steel and supposedly are "Impact Strong" to work better with impact drivers.Initial impressions were good - the Diablo looks well made and the quick release operates smoothly. I tested my long setup on a pilot hole and the Diablo's release mechanism jammed up. Once I got it released they worked fine after that.When it came time to drill the hole the Diablo's didn't let me down. The impact driver kicked in quite a few times when drilling the hole but eventually it went through all the way with no fuss, and the Diablo's separated easily when it came time to take things apart.So, net-net is they worked well. Time will tell whether they jam up again but so far so good.

I never needed this tool but it worked perfectly for my job.

Wow, my cutting mat is a mess! I especially like this bit extension because much like my impact drivers, you can load bits by simply pushing them in, one (1) handed. The black finish and anodized ring look good and for the most part that ring has not been a problem. That is, there are complaints about it releasing bits pulling the extension back out of holes? I suppose if that is an issue for you, I would recommend the Irwin "Lock-n-Load Quick Change Bit Holder" system.While the push to lock holds power drive bits well, they do not spring release like my impact, shooting it out But thats not a deal killer for me. What it does feature which is often not available in power drivers is it can actually firmly hold and easily release 1" bits. Some complain about not hearing or feeling a magnet. Well, that is why it can release a 2/3 burred 1 inch bit!BTW: The photo with the insulated flat bladed screwdriver in it. That's showing the plastic catch being turned out of the power drive detent area for easy removal from the shelf card/hanger.

Evité usar muchas extensiones para un trabajo además de su resistencia que es muy buena tanto para el driver como para la llave de impacto, me sacó de un buen apuro.

Es un producto sencillo pero útil. Lo utilicé para instalar un soporte para una pantalla que tenía muy dificil acceso para las manos.Aparentemente el material y está calificado para utilizarse con herramientas de impacto, aunque realmente no lo he probado de esta manera.El alojamiento para bits de 1/4" tiene un retén para evitar que las puntas se salgan; este retén se tiene que jalar manualmente para liberar las puntas, lo cual es una característica útil.Muy recomendable para areas de trabajo muy estrechas.
