Second order of these and still great
These were my first set of blue light glasses (after my first fail of yellow tinted ones). They work great- I definitely feel less eye strain, are good quality, and a great value. I've just purchased my second set after the first ones finally broke after years of kicking around in my work bag...I really should have gotten a hard case for them. Well technically only one of them broke, but I always feel better having two on hand. Would highly recommend!!

Cleaning them voids the warranty
So, I was emailing the "CEO," (or whoever is authorized to email on his behalf), and he was very interested in assuring that I loved these new glasses. Customer service and communication is exceptional with these guys! Points for that!As far as the glasses themselves, the frames are decent. They don't feel too cheap, but they don't feel expensive either. The hinges are nice and give a semi-premium accent to the frame. They sit really well on my head, they were a perfect fit when I put them on for the first time, and every time since then. I have no complaints about the frame, looks good.I do have issues with the lenses used on these glasses. Cleaning with anything but water and the cloth it comes with WILL VOID THE WARRANTY and make them CLOUDY PERMANENTLY. This will ruin your glasses beyond repair, and they will not help you. Apparently what happens is that it removes some delicate "protective layer" (that can't even protect against being cleaned), and leaves the glasses in a yellow/cloudy state forever. I was informed of this by the CEO in our emailing conversation, so they straight up admit to it. I don't know if this is normal for the market of reading glasses, or glasses in general because I don't use them for anything but blue light protection (mine is the 0.0), but that's enough for me to take off two stars. If I can't kiss my wife while wearing these without worrying that cleaning the smudges afterwards will ruin them forever, then they're just not good enough for me. I'll blame the quality of the lens before I blame my wife for wanting kisses. Be warned about that.

Didn't last 24 MINUTES, let alone 24 hours!
Decided to buy these 2 pair set for both my son and myself. I needed a pair since I tend to read ebooks on my iPad pretty much ALL the time and after a while, my eyes feel it. I find myself rubbing my eyes, they seem dry and blurry. So for me, I thought these would be great in helping reduce my eye strain and still allow me to read my ebooks (I've always been a reader ever since I was 10 years old & ebooks allows me to reduce the storage space I need)Anyhow, my son informed me he's been having frequent headaches. Being a nurse, I did a little assessment and asked him all about what type of headache, contributing factors, when they occur, etc.One MAJOR factor is - he's a 911 dispatcher and stares at a computer screen for 8 HOURS every day. AND he often works 6 days a week, with only ONE DAY of relief from a computer screen. And of course, he uses a smartphone TOO!So we figured computer glasses just might be the remedy to his problem and increasing discomfort. No less than 30 minutes after he got his pair to take to work, THE GLASSES FELL APART!!The TINY SCREW fell out and along with it the FRAME CAME APART!Not only was I embarrassed that I'm the one who convinced him to try these out AND the one to pick them out and BUY them, but I'd talked them up because of the many, many reviews which, FOR THE MOST PART, have been very good!?!?!So far the second pair remains intact but, what good is it when you buy 2 pair because you NEED 2 pair and one BREAKS?!Definitely plan on pursuing a refund for these. The pair that didn't break is decent enough and for the one day I used them, my only complaint was they are difficult to clean. You can't just grab a corner of your shirt and wipe them down. You really do need a microfiber cloth. And, you can't use the wet wipes that have any solution in them otherwise, you'll remove the "coating" (I didn't notice any visible coating).I wish I could say whether they helped my eye strain but, I didn't wear my pair long enough to determine their effectiveness. In the very short time I've had them, I haven't read that long on my iPad.When I did wear them, I did NOT notice a difference in the shade or hue. They were definitely comfortable and easy to wear. That's the most information I can offer because I received a FLIMSY pair that lasted less than 24 MINUTES and I'm beginning the return process!! Not too happy considering I shelled out $30 for these.I'd expect this from DOLLAR STORE glasses but not for 2/$30, $15.00 that BROKE in MINUTES!

You can order from anyone, but you would be wise to order TruVision Readers!
First off let me say that my original order was for 1.75 power and somehow during the ordering process, the power flipped to 0.00. When I received the glasses I put them on and as you can probably guess, I couldn't see. I immediately checked my order knowing I needed 1.75 as instructed by my eye doctor after a recent exam. I was surprised that I did not review and verify the correct power. I was devastated and of course knew I lost money I would not get back on glasses I cannot wear.I decided to email the TruVision support and explain my dilemma before tossing the glasses in the trash. I mean dang, the glasses looked so good on me. Once I got close enough to the bathroom mirror, I thought, these make me look good. If nothing else, I finally knew the frame design that has the right look on my face. Sorry, I digress. I received a quick reply from Erin that surprised me. She was under no obligation to honor an exchange, but she did. The order was clearly made for 0.00 power, not 1.75. I clicked the 1.75 option, but did not verify that it remained the selection at checkout. It was not the fault of TruVision. Within no time, we exchanged the pair of 0.00 Black Computer Reading Glasses for the pair of 1.75 and have used both every day. Yes, I do keep one in my office and one pair in another room.I work all day and most nights on computers and my eyes would get blurry and tired, not to mention the stinging sensation. Like everyone else, or most everyone else, I also pick up my iPad and iPhone when I'm not on my computers. These glasses are great! It have noticed since wearing them on a regular basis that the stinging, tired eyes that I have experienced in the past, have all but diminished.I had order glasses from other vendors which I returned almost immediately because of the lack quality even though the reviews were high. My eyes need to look around my desk and double monitors without having to adjust the way my head is positioned to accommodate the readers I am wearing. I suppose if I was just reading a book, those glasses would be fine. These TruVision Readers are the best of both worlds, reading books and working on computers with dual monitors and a desk full of work!I am so grateful to Erin and TruVision Readers for her understanding and immediate response to help me exchange my order for the right readers.I highly recommend their readers and their company in their stellar customer service!

They are sturdy and block out a good amount of blue light
You honestly can't beat the quality for the price. These are dirt cheap and work very well. I use these with no magnification to help with the harsh light at the office. They are sturdy and block out a good amount of blue light. My eyes feel much less strained at the end of the day.I have two complaints with these, however. The first is fairly minor. They are quite heavy, and you really start to feel their weight on your nose as the hours go by.The second is extremely annoying and is why I'm knocking a star off. I don't know why, but these are incredibly difficult to clean. No matter what I use to try to clean these glasses, they always retain a smudge on them. I've used the microfiber cloth they send with the glasses, I've used other microfiber cloths meant for cleaning glasses, and I even resorted to using those with a cleaning fluid meant for glasses. None of them have managed to thoroughly clean these glasses, and the fluid I used probably made it worse (I regret trying it, but I was desperate). They're still usable, but it's incredibly annoying. All in all, they're a solid product, and a great purchase for the price.
