I didn’t find, as an amateur cake decorator that I could make the butterflies look as fluid and therefore as pretty as they did in the advertising photography.Retrospectively I think I might have been able to manipulate their shape better after they had been applied and fixed to the cake. I did break a couple in the process.

They did not look like the photo on the website, they may come in useful at some point, but not for what I wanted to use them for on this occasion.

I put these on my granddaughter’s birthday cake. She loves butterflies.
