Want to Screw?
Lets just say they work as advertised. Nice to have the bracket pieces and all that as well.

Works well with Startech rack
I had to buy these because Startech does not give you enough with their racks, and they want a ridiculous $40 for another set of 50. These are very similar to the Startech ones, with the washers and cage nuts being pretty much identical. The bolts with this set are a bit longer than the Startech ones, but otherwise pretty similar. All in all no complaints here and a lot better deal than the OEM Startech set.

Strong Screws with little plastic carrirers
I used these to attach most of the stuff to my rack. It is a wonder how rack rails and shelves and guides don't come with the right number of screws to actually attach them.... no complaints about the quality here. They all worked as intended.

Great way to add capacity quickly
I gave these a 4star based on my experience in a lab environment, which may differ slightly than someone looking to install and forget about it. I found the tabs that hold these nuts to the rack break off easy, which makes reuse a bit of a pain. Not only do they no longer hold themselves to the rack but pieces of metal are potentially landing in live equipment in cases where passive cooled systems have open vents. Is the value still there? Absolutely. If you plan to pop these in and mount some equipment that wont require readjustment these will be great. The screw heads and threads are common so use with non-matching hardware should work fine in most cases. The quality of the screws seems great too. For example I have not rounded out any screws yet, and the nuts are easy to thread on. Out of the package the nuts fit great to my rack and allowed plenty of wiggle room to get the rack ears lined up and started. Another interesting feature is the nylon washer. I hadn't considered these before but it is a great idea to get the screws tighter without having to wiggle the mounted device as much. One of the best features of this purchase is the amount of material you get. For that part alone I'd probably buy again regardless of my experience trying to re-use hardware.

Fits most racks
This worked well with my rack. They seem very strong and durable and are holding up well so far. Great value for the price.

Nice looking bolts; easy to snap-in cage nuts; plastic washers protect equipment from damage
The nuts lips springiness was just right to be able to install and remove cage nuts with fingers yet kept them in place firmly.Black plastic washers were very practical for preventing damage to the rack mounting ears of devices.Bolts' dark brownish glossy heads look great.I used these for mounting gear in a networking rack at home and liked them a lot. Perhaps contractors may prefer sets without washers and stronger cage nuts lips for speeding the installation up, provided they won't care about aesthetics and had a cage nut insertion tool at hand.

BLACK, good looking nuts and bolts
Several reviews claim these rack bolts were not black. Mine came nicely packaged and they are black (see photo). I agree that the snap nuts are slightly looser than others I’ve used, but they stay put and are actually easier to install than the overly tight ones. They seem like a good value for the money.
