Great for large dogs
Let me just preface this review by saying that I’ve used these bags for a while now and I always end up reordering them. Ive used pretty much every dog poop bag out there. I still find these to be the most handy. Obviously, they’re great for picking up after large dogs but I also use them to pick up after my small dog who poops frequently. One bag is enough for picking up all her poops in the yard.Pros: tears easily, limited to no chance of tears or leaks, large size makes handling poops less hazardous (honestly, it’s the worst when you accidentally end up touching it).I’ve found this size bag to be extremely helpful for cleaning up after messes in the house too. Like picking up throw up and it fits the paper towels used to clean up after the mess too.Con: not sure how “green” it actually is. I’ve used bags made out of cornstarch so they decompose in the landfill but they tear badly and I’ve had more than one poop mishap. These feel more like regular plastic bags.Pro tip: we use these everyday in Southern California. That being said, it gets hot here and our trash is picked up once a week. We use a diaper genie as a trash can for the poop bags and find that it contains the smell well.

Sturdy, nice size. Worth the price.
I like everything about these. The smell is good. it could be a little stronger but that's a matter of opinion. They're sturdy. I've yet to accidentally rip one. The only thing that I see is a negative is that you have to tie them up. It would be worth it for me if they put a little twist a sticky on there. That way you could just twist tie and throw it in the trash. I'm sure that would be a little more. But it shouldn't be more than a few cents each. I wouldn't think. And I would pay that. But definitely worth the money and I would buy them again. I've used it for my cat litter. I have two grown cats and I do rescue cats on occasion litter boxes. And then I have a puppy. But if she accidentally goes inside or outside I can pick it up and throw it in the bag. I don't think they would be big enough for big dogs.

Larger breed produces larger poop!
These bags are durable and they are large enough to contain several small dogs poop on a walk and strong enough that even my excitable fellow has jumped at and swiped at the filled bag and not so much as a tear! No punctures which we all can appreciate, we dont think of those things until a dog jumps at and with one swipe of his paw tears the bag and spills its contents so one can start over!.These come on a roll so they are easily torn from the roll and stuffed into my pockets along with a couple extras. This avoids the embarrassment of reaching for a bag to pick up your dogs poop only to find your pockets are empty! I even use these to scoop out my cats litter box and the bags hold even kitty litter soiled and clumped. Never had a leak or torn bag even very full bags and they are still easy to tie and seal from other curious dogs noses!

Best Poop Bag for multiple small dogs
I have two small dogs that I walk together and traditional poop bags were just too small and thin for the pick up and walks home. I LOVE these ..they are sturdy, have a nice scent, and are large enough. Not only that, but they are extremely more cost effective than the rolls you buy at the pet store. These are a must have for me now. Highly recommend!

Good plastic bag for scooping litter
This size works well for the task of scooping litter, and in my few weeks of usage, I've found them to be very durable. I didn't realize I was buying the lavender scented ones until after I received them. Some other reviewers commented on the strength of the scent, and I do agree that it is strong if you are especially sensitive to smells. The scent itself does not remind me of lavender at all. I would describe it as a plastic-y, herbal, floral scent. It isn't particularly unpleasant, but it is strong. I have the litter box hiding in a piece of furniture in the living room, and I originally placed the box of Earth Rated bags by the litter box. I ended up moving them to a closet because every time I sat down on my couch, I could smell them. On the other hand, I'm able to double knot a bag after scooping, place it in my trash can, and not smell any of the unpleasant contents of the bag. For apartment dwellers like myself, I like that I don't have to go all the way to the dumpster every time I scoop the litter box. I would like to know what the scent is actually coming from, considering I feel like I'm inhaling it every time I grab a bag. The company website does little to disclose this information, stating that it's derived from plants and is compliant with International Fragrance Association standards. I do appreciate that they make an unscented variety, so there are options if the scent bothers you.I probably will choose to purchase Earth Rated's Vegetable-Based bags, also available on Amazon, when I run out. If I had been reading closer when I first placed my order, I would've gotten those in the first place. Earth Rated seems to do a decent job reducing waste, and all packaging is made of recycled materials. The company also states that their multiple warehouse locations allow for reduced emissions caused by shipping, which is nice. Aside from the packaging and recycling of excess materials, the actual bags themselves are not particularly "green". Plastic is still plastic. The company seems to have adopted a lot of more sustainable practices in packaging and manufacturing, but you are still buying plastic bags. The only addition to them is a degradable plastic additive, which is supposed to cause plastics to degrade at a controlled rate. This isn't enough for the bags to be actually labeled as biodegradable. Some reviewers mentioned that they were difficult to open, which I have yet to notice. Perhaps they are more difficult to open if you are used to a standard pet waste bag. Personally, I wouldn't really mind if they were a little trickier to open, because I'd rather have a bag made more sustainably.Based on all this, these bags do the job well. Anyone sensitive to scents might want to opt for the unscented variety. And consumers should be aware that there is no such thing as a "biodegradable plastic bag", at least not with the current standards. This bag is made with more sustainable practices, but it is still a plastic bag. The same company makes an unscented vegetable-based bag that is plastic free and can be disposed of in composts accepting animal waste, which I will try out when this supply runs out.

BEST POOP BAGS EVER!!
I have large dogs which of course, leave large poops. One would think a poop bag is a poop bag…not true at all. We need large, durable bags that hold up for what they’re intended for. We searched for over a year, trying every brand that claims to be what we needed. These were the last ones we tried. They’re incredible! They are BIG, extremely durable and the most reliable poop bags we’ve tried on market, plus they come smelling like natural lavender.I highly recommend them!I forgot to mention their scent. I personally like bags with a great, neutral smell and they of course, nailed it.Top quality all the way around!

Recommend for Diapers or Dogs.
I use to use these at the kennel. They’re fantastic. The smell is good - I mean, I don’t like the smell of it, but I’ve used these things so many times it just kinda gets to you - but the scent isn’t overbearing, but does mask poop. The bags are huge too. I like these because you really don’t have to struggle to cover your hand to pick up poop.Honestly, the real reason I bought them was for my diaper bag for my baby LOL! They are perfect size to throw those “oops” diapers out when you are out and about. It doesn’t smell up my car, and everyone is happy.

Love these!
Purchased a box because the little bags you get at the dollar store/etc are not big enough for a St Bernard's business. Its not as thick as some but durable and holds a lot. The scent is nice because it covers the odor if I have to carry it a longer way.

Convenient and durable
These little bags are wonderful! I use them for my cat litter. I have a very large cat and must scoop his box everyday. I grab one of these bags, scoop and put into the green bin. So easy-to-use and durable! I've yet to have one break and they get pretty heavy. Also the cat litter doesn't rip the plastic. They also smell nice beforehand.

Ok size for cat litter box
I am using these bags to clean out my cats litter box. The bags are of a good quality and are easy to disspene and tear off the roll. The size is a little small for dumping straight from the litter box to bag with practice it is doable. If your using a scooper then the size is more then good enough.
