If you like banana flavor candy, you’ll love this product. Plus, if you’re old enough, this taffy brings back fond memories. Both my wife and I can’t get over how great it tastes. My only complaint is that it doesn’t break apart when you smack it on a hard surface. The original product did, and that was part of the fun of eating it.

I bought this for my husband who remembered enjoying the Bonomo Taffy as a child and teen. I purchased the banana-flavored taffy. My husband spent over 20 minutes trying to unwrap the first bar and almost gave up. There is a white piece of thin "cardboard" on the bottom which sticks to the toffee. The foil wrapper is easier to remove but if you try to remove the white paper on the bottom, it leaves a paper reside or strip going from one end to the other and is impossible to remove without a knife. My husband wants to throw the box of taffy bars away after trying to peel a few other bars. For us, this was a waste of money and we felt we should warn others who are about to purchase the product.

This was my favorite candy as a child and it still is! Was so surprised to find it again. Love the banana flavor. Love when the sound when you smack it on the counter to crack it. So many good memories. And I personally think it tastes even better now!! Will buy again and again!!

This was my favorite candy when I was a kid. I like the vanilla too. Strawberry was okay and chocolate not so much. I couldn't find it locally in any retail outlets so I figured I would splurge and be sick of them once the box was empty. They arrived in a fairly timely manner. I have to say that they tasted the same as I remembered. How often can you say that. The size of the bar even seems the same unlike almost every other candy bar that existed back then. So, If you liked them back then go buy some. You won't be disappointed.

I am very disappointed in this purchase. It appears that these have melted and slid down in the package. You cannot even get the outer wrapper off without a struggle. Normally you put these in the freezer and then tap them and they break into small pieces and then eat.....not this entire box. These either are very old or they have melted and reformed in the package. I would not order these and do not order if the temps are rising. I attempted to contact the seller twice with no response. Lost me as a customer.

If you have ever eaten these when you were a kid, BUY THESE!! They are exactly the same as when I ate these in the late 50's and 60's. It's great big piece of candy that you can enjoy through long movie or they're hard enough to crack so you can get pieces to suck and swirl around in your mouth for full great long lasting banana flavour. Hey, if these were made soft and chewy like Air Heads, they'd be gone in a minute or two. Plus, they're proudly made in America!!

I like to be able to smack and crack my taffy, but this texture is far too soft. I even put it in the freezer for quite some time, but the minute you get it in your mouth, it’s mush. I think I’ll complain to the company, because this is not normal for this taffy bar. The flavor, as usual, is great.
