Interactive Notebooks: Science Grade 4

This is such a great Science book. We homeschool and are able to use these activities along with other lessons. It is a great way for my 4th grader to keep "notes" of Science lessons.

I love the content! On point with 4th grade curriculum. Some activities don't have a full answer key for me as a mom to double check and assure I am teaching the correctly.

I love this book! I use it in my fourth grade classroom. It took my kiddos a while to slow down and PAY ATTENTION enough to remember what to cut and what not to cut (Cut the heavy dark lines! Don't cut the dotted lines!) But once we crossed that hurtle, they did well. They enjoy creating the interactive notebook pages, and it's great to have these to refer back to when we touch on the subjects again. I suggest writing out whatever you can have them write out BEFORE gluing the paper down, because the glue makes the paper soft and more difficult to write on. This is another lesson we have learned along the way! Overall, this is a great product, and I'm pleased with the purchase. It was also more cost effective than buying notebook pages individually (or even most of the bundles!) online!

This is our 2nd yr of homeschooling. I've created our own Science Notebook and was on the fence about purchasing this or just creating our own content. After leafing through this book, I'm glad I purchased - it will make my life much easier and help him cover the topics in a fun way. It's basically cut out the cut-outs, fill in the blanks, and paste your cut-outs in the correct order. It's kinda like a workbook. We'll have to infill content with a few actual experiments and I've purchased a Science lesson book for more rigorous study. All in all, I think he'll have fun with it. Contains 33 lessons, 2 pages each. First page contains: a) Lesson Introduction b) Creating the Notebook Page c) Reflect on Learning. Second page contains: Illustrations and key points, all for cut-out and glue assembly into your own notebook. We use this for home school and it’s perfect! Highly recommend! My son loves to put his notebook together for each lesson. He gets so excited.

This is a very good, engaging, hands-on science workbook.

This is a wonderful science book my only complaint is that there is NO blank pages in between lessons!! Your instructions are on the same page as the page that needs to be cut up!! I am having to scan and print the pages that need to be cut in order to have the instructions for the next lesson!

My students loved the Interactive Notebook sheets in this book. I always tried them out beforehand and some of them were more challenging than others. However, with the right scaffolding, they are age appropriate for 4th grade. I know for Georgia Standards, not all the standards were in here. But a good majority were!
