Fisher-Price Little People Noah's Ark Playset

I purchased this to give to 18 month old twins. I thought it would be perfect since there are two of every animal. I am already a fan of Fisher-Price Little People sets. I have the Fisher Price Little People Lil' Movers School Bus and it has been a big hit with with the grand kids. I'm just sorry Mrs. Noah missed the boat on this one! I am glad that there are two other sets of animals you can get for this set. One is Fisher Price Little People Noah's Animals Pandas, Lions, and Turtles - Assortment and the other is Fisher Price Little People Noah's Animals Kangaroos, Hippos, and Leopards- Assortment.One of the things I usually don't like about most Fisher-Price toys is how hard they are to wrap. There is usually an open part in the box that lets you try something out on the toy. This box is completely enclosed, as are the boxes of the additional sets. I was glad to see this since it will make wrapping so much easier.

Fisher price has come through again with yet another very cute and durable toy! Our daughter enjoys putting the animals in the ark and taking them back out and she especially likes Noah. I think she thinks his bald head is funny.We do, however, have a few complaints. First, the door to the ark detaches too easily and interestingly enough it is slightly difficult to put back on! Secondly, the female lion does look like a bear. When your 17 month old calls it a bear, it must look like a bear. It would also be nice if there were a few more knobs on the top of the ark to attach animals to. Our daughter gets frustrated that she can only attach 3 animals to the top of the ark securely.If I could make a few changes to this toy, I most definitely would, but it is overall a great little set!

Oh my gosh there is not enough space for me to tell you how amazing this toy is! First, Little Tikes has always been an amazing maker of long lasting toys and this toy certainly lives up to that! This is such an amazing toy for my son to play with, he learns about pairing, boy and girl animals, Noah, and counting. He loves to take the lid off and put the animals in the arc and always puts them in pairs. The animals themselves are very sturdy, and have a hole in the bottom so they can be placed on little pegs that are on the arc. There are little details all over the animals that make them that much more cute (the elephants have birds on them). I highly recommend this toy to any child!

Very fast shipping- ordered this on the 3rd and received it on the 9th and I am military and stationed all the way in Italy! My 2 year old absolutely LOVES this little ark and the animals. It holds her attention for so long and she loves to make up her own dialogue and sounds while she puts the animals in the ark and pushes the ark around. It's nice to have a toy that stimulates her imagination and doesn't make a ton of obnoxious noises and sing songs that get stuck in your head all day long while you're at work... we also have the Little People barn set and doll house set, and these have always been her favorite toys! Pieces are very durable and withstand a lot of abuse from a 2 year old! Very cute toy- highly recommend.

We bought this for our boy and girl twins, it kind of spun from a plan to have their room in a noah's ark theme - that didn't happen but the toy has still been enjoyed. The kids are 18 months but 14 developmentally so they have just started picking up the animals and staring at 'em and then throwing them, that kind of thing.Our set is as pictured above, those animals, those materials. I was bummed to learn that some previous sets/releases included Noah's wife. I would at least expect her to be sold seperately if FP recently cut her out as a cost savings - some of us would've paid the extra $.I am not thrilled with the animal selection, there are more available for separate purchase but even so... But I guess that shows you that this review is a little more about my reaction to this toy than my kids...Speaking of additional animals, the supplemental group of animals we bought included lions. Ummm, hello, lions come with this Ark. So, Im gonna have to say Fisher Price wasn't aiming to be biblically correct here. And by the way, I almost thought FP might actually know the bible better than me when it dawned on me that there were some exceptions in only two of each animal being present on the ark - Noah took 7 pairs of clean animals for sacrificial purposes. So, I thought, Aha! Maybe the Lion is a clean animal! But in checking... it is not... So, I find it ironic that in a story where one of the main details everyone is familiar with - the "two x two" aspect - why would FP force us to buy a 2nd pair of lions if we want turtles, etc... (yes, I am nit-picking)And btw, anyone concerned about accuracy in "reporting" - it's FP (or at least the Amazon listing) that names both of the animals in question Lions. The pairs look different, so I referred to FP naming vs a visual guess...I hope, I don't count on it, but I hope someone at FP actually reads the Bible and is trying.... (and hopefully they'll read this review too and make some modifications, give us Noah's wife! And his 3 sons too if thats not too much to ask... and more animal options...!)

This was a gift for a cute little girl in my life. The animals are cute and a good size for small hands. i think that the boat is simple in design and adorable, and having all the little animals in it is even better. Really, what you see is what you get. The only complaint I have is that there are a lot of animals available that do not come with the initial set. That would be fine if the animals were not quite expensive. If you plan on adding the additional animals, plan on spending more than double what the base toy costs.All said and done, the entire set of animals and the ark itself are nice toys.
