Best flashlight ever!!
This flashlight is amazing. My husband had a ton of rechargeable flashlights from over the years, but they were all old, and the chargers were nowhere to be found. This day and age, I decided I needed a good flashlight that takes batteries. I picked a great one. My power went off today. So, when I had to go to the restroom, I took this flashlight with me. It lit up the entire room like it was daylight. This is very sturdy, and I have no doubt that it can break glass (or heads, or whatever). I like it so much I ordered another one. BUY THIS FLASHLIGHT!!!

Excellent light-very bright
I like that it illuminates far and wide area. Very bright, zooms in and out if needing to focus on smaller area. The flashlight does take batteries (3 C batteries) and has some weight to it--a good thing. It also has a wrist strap, very convenient. Would buy again.

Only One Brightness Setting
I ordered two of these and have tested them. The casing is excellent as is the mechanism for adjusting a wider or narrower beam. However, they did not have two brightness settings as advertised, just on and off. I'm not sure whether the setting I have is the higher brightness or the lower brightness but the flashlights do provide a good level of brightness for my purposes. So I'm not returning them but I must deduct one star for the lack of the advertised ability to adjust intensity level.

I bought this because I bought four 4 Patriots flashlights and they just don't work. This flashlight takes batteries and works wonderfully. I've had this brand before and it was awesome, so I looked it up again. Trust this product to nat fail you.

A worthy replacement for the old Maglite
Solid metal, bright with a focusable lens, and only two settings high and low. Too many flashlights have stupid strobe settings or use annoying rechargeable batteries that will never be charged when you need it. It's nice to be able to leave this on a shelf for a few months and be able to pop a 3 c batteries in and just go.
