big image easy to see without getting very close
Such a big image and I do not have to get close to the door to see it.I cannot see in from the outside.

I would recommend if you dont mind a little blur in the peep hole view.
I had to cut a decent size whole on my door but when I was finished, the installation was a breeze. Very useful item and gives you a good sized view without the use of batteries. Excellent design but it is plastic and the image is not as clear as I would like but it works better than what I had before. I was able to determine my neighbor who was knocking on my door at night so that is a plus but you do have to have some sort of light.

Requires drilling a hole or bigger hole where your current peephole is
Haven’t been able to use it because I already had a peephole in our home and don’t want to make a bigger hole because we are renting I thought it went over the current one. I have seen them in use this is super neat and helpful for elderly, children and slightly visually impaired people.

Excellent product, excellent vender
This is an excellent door-viewer. You can stand several feet away from the door and get a clear, wide-angle view of whatever is on the other side of the door, during the day. At night it works good too, but you'll need a strong porch light. The vendor Prime-Line Products is great, and is very conscientious about communication and support. I'd definitely recommend this product and vendor. Craig.

giant screen door viewer- do not buy
finally I got the viewer installed, but visibility is really bad, day time is ok, but at night you can not see any thing even with our porch light on, this is the waste of money. If i would know this early, I would never but this product. Now I have made big hole 3/4 inch in my main door and can not even take that krap out, i am totally screwed. I damaged the door and stuck with this stupid viewer that does not work. i will for sure file a complain to amazon about it.

Flips image and needs Adequate light to work properly
I like the Fact that the peephole is now 2" big and makes seeing if someone is outside very easy. It is a little blurry but good enough to see if its someone you know or a stranger. I would recommend this to anyone handy enough to install it or if you have a handy man that can Install it for you.

Updated: Not worth it if you have to fix it.
The media could not be loaded. I had to take the whole thing apart, and glue the inner lens down. Not a major frustration, but it was frustrating. The unit is all plastic apart from some of the optics, and made cracking sounds when I put everything back together -- don't force it.Update: the cheap plastic inner lens fogged up after being exposed to cyanoacrylate glue to reattach it to the housing. Ordered a different product elsewhere, that uses all glass optics, and has a metal housing.

Easy to install
Ever since finding out about these peep holes while at a rental, I knew I had to get one for my house for added security. The screen allows for me to view my front door area from a distance and as someone with military background and a B.S.in Criminal Justice, added security is extremely important to me and my family. Definitely recommend and so easy to install
