I like this product! It is cleaner that the other kind of pings! Not sure why they call them that but…..absorbing sock. They dry nicely? I spin mine out in the washer. Then hang to dry. I use them in my enclosed porch. The door leaks when it rains hard . Would buy again. Works great!

I love this brand. I looked at several other brands. Didn't like the fact that it took so long to dry the product. My sister recommended the Pig Sock and I love it. It dries fast and keeps the water in my walk-in shower in the shower.

These work well and I like that they are cleanable and dryable. They don't absorb water as efficiently as polyacrylate solutions, but you can't have the best of both worlds

I bought these for our bedroom windows. One is a picture window with smaller windows at each end, the other is just a small window. I knew when I purchased they would be too long for the smaller windows, but figured I could run them up the side, which I did. However, by doing that they wouldn't fit into the corners of the window where the wood gets moldy. And I had a hard time fitting along the bottom of picture window, they wouldn't stay tight against it because they are too fat for this purpose. They DID absorb where you could keep them snug to the window, but a lot of moisture still got on the woodwork so I still had to "mop up". I contacted their customer service and explained all this and they were VERY HELPFUL and more than fair. They are sending me some of their mats, which I think I can cut to fit, which are not reusable but they are making the effort to make it right. They also sent an Amazon gift card via email.I think the product would work in other areas, but it is too fat for our windows to do any good. Please keep that in mind if you are planning on using around your windows.I do recommend the company and if I had water collecting around shower or doors I feel confident that the product would work for that.

This does exactly what I needed! I have a refrigerator that sweats profusely in the summertime and wets the floor randomly year round, due to freezing of the auto defrost line. I got tired of using towels to mop up, and lined the base with these. They soak up all the water, and protect the floor and our feet. They release the water slowly through evaporation, if I forget to pick them up and take them outside. If I notice in time, I hang them in the sun for a few minutes and they dry quickly and are ready to go again. Wish I had bought them years ago, when my kids loved to play wave pool in the bath tub!

My apartment's basement leaks when it rains and hasn't been properly addressed by management. Subsequently, a number of boxed items were ruined by the little "river" running across the floor to the drain. After my siblings suggested absorbent "socks", I set the 4 socks up (overlapped at their ends) to capture any future leaks that come in, and they appear to have worked.Additionally, when my hot water tank leaked as it was being drained for removing, I quickly stemmed the "tide" with one of these socks, and it worked. The water didn't get through the sock to do any damage.These are a great band-aid for this kind of issue. They are washable (although I haven't yet needed to), which is a plus, and a good length.I imagine they could also be used to direct water where you want it to go (e.g. to a drain) by lining them up on both sides to make a channel, but keep the water from exiting the sides of the channel.Pricey, but worth it to control leak problems.
