Munchkin Bites!

I own almost all of the original Munchkin set, the expansions etc and have played that version to death. This was before they had color versions of the cards too!. In addition I own the Munchkin Booty set which I would also highly recommend. So when my daughter approached me asking for this version, I was definitely agreeable.I bought the base set plus the expansion for her. We have played it many times since getting it and have enjoyed it a lot! I would not say it's the best of the versions out there, but it is a solid game in its own right. The puns and jokes are present as expected and we enjoyed the powers quite a bit. As always with any Munchkin set, you can combine it with other sets and play for even more mayhem and confusion.I does seem that a lot of the cards were more race dependent whether good or bad than usual. So if you don't happen to be that particular race often things don't apply. This did seem to encourage more trading of items in our games though than we usually do.Bottom line - "If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up."

The Munchkin series has been around for a while now. And with the original series, you can think of it like a card-game version of Dungeons & Dragons, if your campaign was written by the entire cast and crew of Monty Python.The games are absolutely hilarious.Since it is a card-based RPG for lack of a better comparison, it does take a few games to truly get the hang of it. But once you do, it's a blast.Then there are the expansions, of which this game is one.The expansions/spin-offs, function the same way. With a few extra features and rules here and there.Just as ridiculous and funny as the original.The other great thing about Munchkin, is that they're all compatible.So, if you have Munchkin, the expansions, the spin-offs like Super Munchkin, Star Munchkin, Munchkin Bites, etc, you can combine them into one huge game of Munchkin.It's really quite awesome.

This was my, what, 6th or 7th expansion set I've bought for Munchkin since I started collecting these games and this one does not disappoint. Hilarious mockery of angst-ridden goth weenies & endless cheezy vampire/werewolf movies is wrought here. Be careful if you have those incompetent dullards at UPS ship it to you though...on the delivery ETA I got a message from Amazon saying it had been delivered "at my rear door" because that's what the UPS package-tracking website said, but it was nowhere to be found. "Rear door" indeed... It showed up on my front porch the next day. I've had better luck shipping with the plain ol' U.S. Mail.

The description for this product implied that the box "may" be dented. However this box was definitely dented. Not just a maybe, a for absolute sure this box is damaged. It looks like my box was punched. The inside was not okay like the seller said. The cards had been dented from the damage to the front and the pieces separating the cards was destroyed on the bottom. I absolutely love the game, however I won't be buying from this seller again as I can't trust their description of their products.

I haven't yet played this particular version yet, but I'm sure it'll be as fun as the others :) I believe it plays a lot like the Zombie one where you have Powers instead of Classes, so I have some understanding of how this differs from the original game.I bought this as a gift for a friend who likes vampires and this game.Munchkins just about has a variety of their game for everyone.

It's fun but nowhere near as awesome as the original!

Having played original Munchkin, Munchkin Fu, Munchkin Booty, and this, I rank this the lowest. It's ok, but not great. The bad: half the powers aren't very cool. The good: the bats (like sharks in Booty) stack for free, which makes for some fun, and there are plenty of no-handed items. If you're mixing sets, this one has the least to offer, since the powers don't come up enough to be useful, half the traps won't work since fewer races will pop up, and anyone actually being able to stack a bat is unlikely. I personally thought Munchkin dropped the ball a little on the jokes and silliness with this set too.

I would recommend Munchkin to anyone. It is a brilliant game and many hours of fun have been spent playing this game.Munchkin Bites adds a new twist to the original Munchkin and you have all new powers you can fight the monsters with.I would recommend this product.

Supongo que la diversión será parecida pero esta versión deja mucho que desear en cuanto al material usado. Para empezar la calidad de las cartas es peor, son mucho más finas que las versionadas en español, probablemente por ser una imprenta distinta. Luego el formato, los dibujos y el tipo de letras son mucho peores, pero en definitiva lo que cuenta es la diversión, en ese aspecto aún no puedo decir mucho.
