Lamp
I love this lamp, it gives me the time and indoor temperature plus a sun lamp.

Surprising Good Quality
This lamp was a bit of a surprise. Most therapy lamps are quite expensive, but this one was inexpensive and has lots of features. I use it in the mornings, which are still long and dark, and I do feel a little more awake all day long. As it's a desk lamp, the charging features are also very handy.

Pretty good SAD / task lamp
This is a pretty decent light, specifically for SAD therapy and as a task lamp (or a little of both simultaneously). Here are some pros and cons from my perspective:Pros:* Bright / hi-lumen output for its size with 3 brightness settings* Lamp folds up reasonably flat, great for portability* Looks more like a task lamp, more modern and sleeker than traditional SAD lamps* Base is somewhat decent for charging AirPods and *some* phones* Extra (traditional) USB port on back of base* Arm containing light is on a hinge to quickly angle light between SAD mode and task mode* As a task light 4.0-4.5 stars, as a SAD light 3.5-4.0 stars* Fair price for what you get.Cons:* Not as effective as the larger SAD lights made by the same company (the ones with the “box lights” which have a diffusion on front of the light approx 12” x 12” - which are also on a base and able to be angled). These bigger lights are better for both SAD and as task lamps- they are great, but maybe 3x the price, and as I have been told, “are ugly”!* As other reviewers have said, the charging platform is finnicky and requires items to be placed “just right”. Also, when I upgraded to an iPhone 16 Pro from an iPhone X, the addition of the “camera bump” renders the charging platform useless for my phone because it is not flush to the base. AirPods charge ok when placed right. I hope the company is able to remedy this in the next iteration of this product, I would buy another lamp if so.* Further, the traditional USB port on the back doesn’t seem to charge my iPhone 16 and I have tried a few usb to usb-c wires. It does, however, charge a charge-thru battery I have so I plug in the battery to the base and stick my phone on the battery to charge.* i think the clock requires adjustment every 6 months maybe (and not just for daylight savings), its timing is slightly off over time* Whatever 8-bit-ish sounds the lamp makes (ie twinkle twinkle when plugged in and battery not yet activated) I could do without. If you are looking for a decent SAD lamp that also serves as a task lamp, and is reasonably portable, at a fair price, this is probably the lamp for you.

Pros & Cons
Pros (mostly all good):+ Has a blue 7-segment LED display for the time, date, day of week, and even temperature!+ Has as a wireless phone charger pad built in.+ Has touch buttons for dimming light to 3 different intensity levels.+ Has a touch button for light turning on/off.+ Has hinge joint at the base to swivel post forward or back.+ Has hing joint at the top of post to swivel light direction up or down.(IOW you can point it at your face for morning light therapy).+ Very thin post can fit perfectly between 2 monitors on desktop.Cons:- No way to swivel light left or right (no biggie).- Clock loses around 3 minutes per week (this is mainly bad because...)- Setting the clock is inconvenient because buttons are on back of post and hard to read let alone remember the time adjust sequence.Stuff I don't know about:? Whether the light frequency profile is similar to sunlight.

Functional but Flawed for Shift Workers and Sleep Regulation
I bought the Theralite Radiance to help regulate my sleep cycle since I work shifts and have delayed sleep phase disorder. I wanted something I could use upon waking up in the morning to get some light exposure and hopefully start feeling tired at a more reasonable hour. This isn’t it.The plastic feels cheap. It’s a step above dollar store cheap now that they’re selling things for $5-$20 now. I also wasn’t expecting it to play a little startup song every time it turns on either. The actual light beam is super narrow, so unless you’re sitting with the lamp basically in your face, it’s not doing much. I don’t have time to sit still in front of a lamp for an hour every morning, and this just isn’t strong enough from a distance. The wireless charger is also kind of useless. It’s really small, super sensitive to placement, and my phone case is apparently too thick for it to work reliably. I gave up trying to use it after a couple days. Also, the power adapter is detachable and not a normal cord you can just plug in and forget. I can see myself easily breaking the power adapter just from normal use.I wanted to love this, but it just feels a little gimmicky and not practical for my actual needs. Might work better if you’re sitting at a desk doing nothing for an hour straight, but that’s not realistic for me.That said, I will say I felt a noticeable boost in mood and energy after using it for 20 minutes with the light really close to my face. I could 100% tell a difference when I got to work. So it does work, but only if you’re willing to sit really close and use it consistently.Overall, it’s not a bad device, but it’s not super user-friendly or well-designed.3/5

Amazing
I sit in an office with artificial lights for 10.5 hours a day. It is small enough to be on my very busy desk, large bright numbers for the date/time and great for charging phones. I dont know if its a placebo affect or if it actually works, but i have definitely found a difference in my mood after using it for over a week.Im located in the mid-west
