Speck Products Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Case, CandyShell Grip Case (Black/Slate Grey), Military-Grade Protective Case

Before ordering I thought it was quite a nice looking case but I was afraid the rubber ribbing on the case was a gimmick. It seems that the majority of products these days are full of gimmicks. Upon receiving the case I've been pleasantly surprised. It's really everything that I want from a case. I like it even more than my last case that was made by Tech21 Impactology.The case has a hard plastic outer shell. Because it's a very glossy plastic material it is very prone to receiving scratches. My case already came pre-scratched at the very top and very bottom. I suspect this was from rubbing against the product packaging. I'm curious to see how long it will take until the case is scratched up enough to start bothering me. Time will tell. However the glossy black with the gray ribbing looks beautiful. It is truly a great looking case and would not look out of place anywhere. Inside the plastic there is an extremely thin coating of silicone on everything. This probably makes it grip your phone to prevent it from falling out. There are also silicone lips on the front top and bottom allowing you to place the phone face down without risking scratches to the screen.I'm not going to drop test my own phone to find out. But I feel that this case give very acceptable durability to a phone that is naturally more prone to damage than others. The s7 edge screen is great looking but I believe the design also increases your chances for damage. This is a well designed case and it gives you complete coverage to all areas of the phone. The small lip on the top and bottom follow the curve of the screen allowing the case to provide protection to flat drops of the screen as well as drops to the edge of the screen. I am confident that this case provides as good or better protection as any other case that is the same style and thickness. I've seen poorly designed cases. They're all over. This is not one of them.The case feels great in your hand. I really hate the feel of the s7 edge without a case. It's the most slippery phone I've ever felt and the narrow edge gives you less to hold on to. With this case I no longer feel like the phone is going to slip out of my hand at any minute. The soft silicone ribs on the edges grant a firm grip to the edges finally. Trying to hold on to the phone by the edges before the case made for nervous moments.The fit of the case is perfect. You slip either top or bottom in first then push on the opposite end. It is very easy to both install and remove from your phone. I saw other reviews that stated it's difficult to install/remove. The only way I could see having difficulty is if you are trying to put it on side to side instead of top to bottom. Looking at the case it's kind of obvious that it will go on better by starting with either the top or bottom.All the buttons and port cutouts are dead on. I love the giant opening for the USB and headphone jack. No more taking cases off for large plugs. Very good design here.I can't say enough good things about this case. Great design leads to great execution. This case is a keeper. The only small complaint is about the packaging providing scuff scratches to the product before getting a chance to unbox it. They were minor but I feel that a new product should always look new. May need a change to the packaging setup.

Best deal case. It was lower in price because it was white color. Not a problem 4me. Good grip and phone ok after dropping like 4 times.

I have owned the S7 Edge and case since I got the S7 Edge preorder and I am extremely impressed. I specifically purchased this case because I needed a thin case for wireless charging, which I am glad to say works perfectly with 2 different Plessus brand chargers (one is fast charge the other not fast charge). I owned the same series Speck case years ago but opted for an Otterbox for my last phone (big mistake). Here's a summary of my likes and dislikes:Pros:-Wireless charging works great through it.-Protects the face of the screen well by the upper and lower lips that raise it a decent amount when placed face down.-The lip continues around the edge, so if the phone is rolled the screen will still be protected.-Very easy to hold.-Protects the camera lens well.-Feels very solid when housing the phone.-Easy to access the edge of the screen.-Easy to remove (good for use of the Gear VR, in my case).-Very easy to clean.-Easy access to both ports and buttons.Cons:-Upon close inspection you can see fingerprints and grime build-up between the grips.-Pricier than other similar cases, but worth the extra cost.-If this is anything like my last one, it will eventually crack some of the plastic and expand the silicon. (Luckily it doesn't look bad)-Depending on how you hold the phone horizontally, can be slightly harder to grip since there are no silicon grips on the top and bottom.

This case has a great feel to it. It doesn't make my phone feel like a heavy brick. It does add a little bit of weight, but it's nothing unbearable and actually makes my phone less likely to slip out of my hand. It also doesn't make my phone overly bulky, which is great considering the S7 Edge is already a large phone. The rubber grips are not sticky but more smooth, like matte silicone, so they don't catch lint from my pockets. They definitely help prevent dropping. The S7 Edge is really slick without a case. Mine almost slipped out of my hands multiple times before I got a case, so a case with a texture to it to add grip is a must. The design is simple but appealing. I wish there were more color options, but I'm not complaining. This case is flexible but fits firmly, and I feel that my phone is truly protected from falls in this case. I dropped it on linoleum once and it bounced and landed as if nothing had happened. There was no damage to my phone whatsoever. Coupled with a good film screen protector, this case can protect my phone from almost anything.

LA funda llega tal cual la ilustración; sin embargo el material de los detalles en gris se comenzo a despegar en cuestión de días, es solo un tema estético tal vez, pero viendo el costo del mismo creo que debería tener una mejor calidad. lo recomiendo? sí, pero debes tener en cuenta que los detalles se desagastan rápido

J adore ma nouvelle coque speck. Je sais que cela fait un petit investissement mais cela vaut le coup.Ce que j apprécie le plus c est le grip pour la prise en main. Vous risquez pas de le laisser tomber.Il est incompatible , comme tout les coques avec un verre trempé. J ai réfléchi longuement et j ai privilégié une bonne coque.Mon téléphone a l air super bien protégé dedans. Elle est très jolie. Fait pas "mastoc".J ai mis un film plastique de marque "novago" et tout va bien.tout le monde achète descoques "spriegen" mais vu les commentaire la prise en main est glissante.J attend peut être un jour l arrivée d un nouveau coloris avec cette marque , pour changer..

Me siento mucho más seguro manejando el teléfono con esta funda, tiene muchísimo más agarre debido a los detalles de goma.Funciona perfectamente con carga rápida inalámbrica.Suelo dejarlo boca abajo puesto que su borde en la parte inferior y superior impiden que el cristal toque la superficie donde se deje.En mesas o superficies más resbaladizas, si se deja boca arriba, la goma hace muy bien de antideslizante.Ya he tenido un par de caídas y perfecto.Sé que es cara comparándola con otras pero por materiales, tacto y fiabilidad en cuanto a pulsado botones está genial. El borde no impide la funcionalidad de los Samsung Edge.

Ich habe bereits sehr viele Cases für das Samsung S7 Edge gekauft und das weiße Speck Grip Candyshell case ist definitiv das Beste bisher. Sehr, sehr guter Grip was einem eine sichere Einhandbedienung ermöglicht und auch optisch ist das case in weiß absolute Klasse.Ich würde mir wünschen das es noch die andere Speck cases aus dem Sortiment gibt.PS: Habe auch das normale, graue Candyshell Case. Sehr guter Schutz durch das dicke Case, aber leider viel zu rutschig.
